General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, September 6 tease con jobs, mysterious IDs, and critical tasks!

Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) smells a con job, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) works on a mysterious ID, and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) given a critical task.

General Hospital Spoilers: Con Jobs

At the compound in Africa, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) has interrupted Lucky and Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) poker game.

Obviously, Sidwell must be out of earshot as Lucky tells Holly he can smell a con a mile away-she just smiles. The big question is, who is she conning-Sidwell or Lucky?

Considering Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) has been calling her, it’s a good chance Sidwell is the one being conned. But is she good enough a con to continue to con the con?

GH Spoilers: Mysterious IDs

Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) asks Dante for an update-after discussing her search for Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) identity Dante went to the scene. 

Dante did find a likely broken cell phone at the spot where Isaiah was run over by Linda Boyles’ (Amor Owens) car.

This happened  while she was on the way to the Pine Barrens with Ava Jerome (Maura West).

In the meanwhile, Jordan had called Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) for assistance with an identification. Now she asks Dante if he’s any closer to identifying the mystery patient.

General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin Is Dubious

Meanwhile, in an otherwise unoccupied doctor’s office at GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) remains dubious and doubtful as Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) tries to persuade her.

It’s clear that Elizabeth doesn’t want to be in the middle of Ric and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) by turning her into the police.

Ric keeps trying to talk her into going with him to report her dropping a gun into a river below the bridge-most likely it was Robin’s Bridge.

Elizabeth most likely is more dubious and doubtful about getting any closer to Ric than she is about what they saw happen.

She’s gotten entangled in enough legal issues the last few years helping Nicolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)!

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Has News

Back at the PCPD, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has news to report as Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) asks her what’s up.

She says there’s been a development in the homicide of Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).

Did someone find that gun that Alexis dropped off the bridge anyway, even if Ric and Liz are still arguing about reporting it?

Or did something else happen, perhaps more clues have been identified or more persons of interest?

General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks Gives Her Mother The Third Degree

After hearing Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) story about what he heard the Quartermaines discuss about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Josslyn hunts down her mother! 

She confronts her outside Sonny’s penthouse door, and asks if she slept with Sonny or did she give him an alibi for murder?

Josslyn couldn’t believe that Gio heard that right, there must have been a misunderstanding-Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) tried to mediate.

Carly looks very uncomfortable but it’s because again she’s in a bad place with her daughter. Josslyn has seen this happen too many times before and she’s mad!

GH Spoilers: Critical Tasks

Meanwhile, Sonny is talking to Jason, giving him a critical task-previously he had called him when he discovered one of his guns missing from his gun safe.

It’s the same gun Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) took and that Ric and Elizabeth saw Alexis throw in the river.

In addition, he probably has the other gun he actually used to kill Cates as well-he’ll want Jason to find the missing one but he’s probably already disposed of the other.

It’s possible Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) got rid of it as well, considering he picked up the bullet casing right away.

He needs Jason to deal with the only thing that’s tying him to the murder of Cates.
