General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, July 19 tease suspicious children, grieving girlfriends, and depressing scenarios!

James West (Gary Fuller) is suspicious, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) struggles with grief, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) seems depressed.

Suspicious Children

Little James appears to have inherited his late father’s detective instincts, as he’s suspicious about something. He’s at home with his mom and half-sister Maxie Jones, (Kirsten Storms) Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and tells his suspicions.  

He says something weird’s going on that nobody’s saying-he might be talking about the weirdness between Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

The children, even Georgie, have been shielded from Cody’s blurting out to Mac that he lied about the paternity test and he’s really Mac’s son. Cody’s avoided being around James who’s been his good buddy at Mac’s demand, not to mention the rest of the family.

Grieving Girlfriends

Trina is at the Metro Court Pool with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as she continues to have a difficult time struggling with her grief for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

She tells Josslyn she just wants to get there so badly- “there” being to acceptance in the grief process and able to move past the tragedy.

It’s difficult to navigate the grief process with no closure-no body buried in the grave at the cemetery, although there could be a situation where he survived.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was in a situation where he was in fact alive but with amnesia, after all, and Trina’s stop in Nixon Falls gave hope. She was the one who picked up some pasta sauce Josslyn had recognized!

Good Advice And Encouragement

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has shown up to give Cody good advice and encouragement, telling him not to overreact in response.

Perhaps Mac has been convinced to take some baby steps with Cody and his lies, that Cody now regrets and is embarrassed by? After all, he’d been willing to give him a chance before Cody blurted out his confession.

It’s a very delicate negotiation process that Maxie, Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) and possibly even James are now involved in, as well as Sasha, it would seem. Cody’s embarrassed, Mac’s hurt, and angered as well, and who could blame him?

Depressing Scenarios

In the meantime, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) appear to be in a hospital, as both look sad and concerned.

It appears that they are visiting Lulu Spencer (most recently Emme Rylan) and it’s a depressing scenario.

Dante wonders if coming to see her is doing more harm than good, but is he referring to himself, or is Lulu responsive slightly?

If she does come out of her coma, it will be a very different world-her man moved on, her oldest brother in prison, her father dead and her daughter on the run!

Tracy Quartermaine’s Taken Aback

Tracy’s still in the stable, although Cody may not be as Sasha’s talking to him-and she’s taken aback after a mysterious someone showed up while she and Cody were talking!

It could be James, considering she wants to know how he got there and she’s taken aback.

Cody may have made an excuse to make a hasty exit, and that would explain James talking to his family about something weird going on.

Who else could it be Tracy and Cody were obviously shocked by who interrupted their conversation? Tracy is confused how whoever it is got there!

GH Spoilers: Carly Spencer And Jason Morgan Debate Their Next Move

In the meantime, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) continue to talk on the footbridge, debating their next move.

Now that the FBI has what they want-or at least they think they do-Jason talks about Sonny. Jason was concerned for him and had told Carly that Sonny’s in more trouble than he knows.

He tells Carly, he has to get Sonny to let him back in, and they debate their next move to try and make that happen.
