Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) makes a true confession, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) has an irritated reaction and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) makes a panicked warning!
Sasha has to tell someone about what she witnessed in the Quartermaine home the fourth of July as she was coming out of the kitchen.
First her former “fake mom” Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) confessed she’d been fooling around with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Then, Sasha saw Drew and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in a clinch, kissing passionately!

Sasha doesn’t know what to do with the horrible information, Drew playing a mother and daughter against each other, or what? She tells Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) if she tells him, she has to swear him to secrecy!
In the meantime, Mac is still with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) after they manipulated a situation for Mac and Cody to talk. Maxie had left her phone with Cody in the stable and Felicia called it when Maxie said she couldn’t find it, and Cody brought it to her.
Mac is completely irritated now, wanting to know what was the point of that humiliating exercise?
Maxie and Kristina are trying to fix things and get Mac and Cody communicating and Mac to forgive Cody and accept him.

Elsewhere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) answers her door to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who wants to talk.
Trina apologizes for just showing up but says it’s important. No doubt this is about Laura’s having the court reconsider Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) more recent charges, after the cobalt poisoning.
It looks like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) are having a parent and parent conference over their son,
Jake Webber (Hudson West). Jason borderline pleads with Elizabeth to let him do “this” for Jake.

Of his two sons, Jake has been the one who has not handled his father’s return “from the dead” so well, although recently he gave him an assist with something.
Jake no doubt has had a very rough few years emotionally, a girlfriend with serious problems, an uncle and a dad back from the dead, a stepfather dead for real.
Not to mention his mother’s recent bad breakup with a long-term serious boyfriend and her own emotional issues!
At some point, Jason will also have a conversation with Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) who will discuss with him her plan to expose Pikeman and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) role.
Jason won’t like it when Anna says that she plans on going it alone-retrieving the satellite phone from Valentin’s house that she saw. He’ll worry she needs some backup from him, but she doesn’t want it.

Anna knows that Valentin took over as head of Pikeman when Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was arrested.
Now she has to find out who is calling Valentin on that satellite phone and who he’s calling-she has to have the phone to do that.
At home, Portia freaks out to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) with a panicked warning; “the worst is yet to come”!
Her plan to have Laura recalled as Mayor over Portia’s perceived belief Laura wants Heather Webber fully exonerated for all her crimes and released fell on deaf ears.
She tried to get Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) cooperation, but Jordan apparently believes in Heather’s innocence too. Portia is clearly blowing the intent behind Laura’s actions way out of proportion, not listening to anything but her own paranoia!
