General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, January 19 tease worrisome changes, angry grandmothers and desperate mothers!

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) discuss worrisome changes, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is an angry grandmother and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is a desperate mother.

General Hospital Spoilers – Worrisome Changes

Sam and Carly discuss the worrisome changes in Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) since he’s been released from Pentonville.

Sam asks Carly, since he’s been back, haven’t you noticed he’s changed? Drew has a lot of anger built up and his personality is changing and perhaps not for the better.

Making independent changes to Scout Cain’s (Cosette Abinante) school without consulting either Scout or Sam is just the beginning. Drew is flying off the handle and losing his temper much more easily than previously.

GH Spoilers – Business Decisions

Meanwhile, Drew has gone to the offices of Crimson Magazine-a division of Aurora Media. It looks like he’s firing Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) or possibly shutting down the magazine, as she asks him if he thinks she’s going to just roll over and accept this?

If he shuts down the magazine it won’t be just Nina who’s affected, it will be all her employees too-one has to wonder what’s next.

He might demand she hand over her half of the Metro Court back to Carly as well, and he doesn’t mean selling it back!

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Patients

At the hospital, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is telling someone they’re lucky to be alive, and she’s probably talking to Adam Wright (Joshua Benard).

He had attempted suicide and if Josslyn Jacks (Courtney Fulk) hadn’t found him in time, he probably wouldn’t have survived.

With the combination of some kind of pills and nearly a whole bottle of vodka, he’s extremely lucky that he’s not at least in a coma.

Pills and liquor are a deadly combination in most cases and Adam’s likely going to spend some time in the psych ward to make sure he doesn’t try it again. But will he be even more miserable, feeling like he couldn’t even do suicide right?

GH Spoilers – Apology Not Needed

Elsewhere, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) tries to comfort Josslyn, who thinks she needs to apologize.

He doesn’t understand what she has to apologize for-perhaps she’s worried she’s made things worse for Adam since his parents had to be contacted?

Dex will continue to tell her she doesn’t have to apologize to Adam for saving his life. Perhaps this will be a wake-up call for his parents.

General Hospital Spoilers – Angry Grandmothers

It looks like Laura might be in Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hospital room as she goes off on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

It’s obvious she now knows that Spencer gave Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) who’s now on the run with him. She rants and cries as she asks him how could he do such a thing?

Laura was probably the one Cyrus called after Esme came to him for help tracking down Nikolas and bringing back Ace, although he’s called someone else as well. Laura and Esme are both in a near panic not knowing how to find Nikolas or Ace!

GH Spoilers – Desperate Mothers

Meanwhile, Esme is desperate and she’s at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) art gallery where Ava stares at her with a dour look on her face. Esme pleads with her not to kick her out, because she needs her help.

Since Cyrus didn’t give a lot of hope to her that he knew where Nikolas might go with the baby, she’s trying Ava. If she believes Esme, Ava might likely even have a problem with that, although her hatred of Esme may override her maternal instincts.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Welcomes Another Visitor

Cyrus smiles in his hospital bed as he tells someone they’re right on time. This has got to be a second person he’s called, and perhaps he does have someone who can track his nephew and grandnephew down.

One would think that would be more of a job for the WSB, but they couldn’t find Nikolas before, he’s too good at hiding his tracks.

Chances are, he’s wherever he was hiding out before in Europe, with his baby boy. Laura’s definitely not happy with either her son or her oldest grandson!
