General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, February 9 tease helping hands, discussing discoveries and making progress.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) offers a helping hand, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) discusses discoveries and Willow and Michael Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen, Chad Duell) make progress.

General Hospital Spoilers – Helping Hands

Cody and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are out somewhere having fun when Cody offers help to Spinelli. Cody says “what do you say raise the stakes a little”? It kind of sounds like he’s talking about helping him win at gambling!

Spinelli and Maxie do have strange looks on their faces in response to his offer, and even Sasha looks like she has questions. But at least the two seem to be getting along, and that’s something new for Cody and Spinelli.

GH Spoilers – Discussing Discoveries

Brick is with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and it looks like they’re having lunch together at The Savoy. He’s made a discovery and advises Jordan he thinks she needs to consider the much bigger picture.

Jordan had asked Brick to look into some things on the investigation she and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have been working to find out whose bullet hit Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Just wait till John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) finds out they’re consulting a mob connected guy like Brick!

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller Concerned

Elsewhere, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is concerned as he asks Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) if she’s sure she’s up to this. She looks very sad so it might have something to do with Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) recent funeral.

She, Spencer and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) grew up together and played as kids, and so it’s been an emotional time.

Perhaps they are going somewhere where something traumatic happened, maybe the Corinthos cabin to get away?

The only problem with that is bad stuff happened there, that’s where Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) made that horrid video and spread it.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer And Drew Cain Discuss His Vendetta

Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) discuss his vendetta against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Drew tells her something is up to her and she looks downright confused. Carly’s been having some growing pains as editor in chief of Crimson Magazine but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) helped avert a crisis.

Is Drew trying to tell her that lightening up on his vendetta is up to her when he’s been commandeering every other situation? Drew looks pretty insistent!

General Hospital Spoilers – Unhappy FBI Agent

At the PCPD someone else appears to also have control issues as Jagger says he can end this quick and neat!

He’s got a bee in his bonnet about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and is sure he’s one of the mob bosses behind the shootings. He had a huge problem with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) wanting to protect Sonny.

She guilt tripped him by suggesting he think what his late brother Stone Cates (Michael Sutton) who was mentored by Sonny would think. That didn’t go over well!

GH Spoilers – Making Progress

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael and Willow are making progress in their relationship after they separated right after New Year’s Eve.

Willow didn’t like it when she found out Michael was manipulating her using protecting her and the kids from Nina as an excuse.

It sounds like Michael asks if he or their marriage is a lost cause, but Willow smiles and says maybe she doesn’t believe in lost causes. It certainly does look like they are communicating again and making progress.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Hears About A String Of Mob Hits

At his office in Pozzulo’s, Sonny hears about a string of mob hits and tells someone to quit talking about it and give it their best shot.

He may be talking to Brick since Brick had made a discovery which he shared with Jordan.

Sonny is taking every piece of information very seriously in his quest to find out who’s out to get him, especially considering it looks like an inside job.

He’s also been spending a lot more time in his office at Pozzulo’s than at home. That might be out of protection for Ava Jerome (Maura West) who’s still staying with him.
