General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, August 30 tease long overdue apologies, empty promises and targeted threats!

Coming Up On General Hospital

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) makes a long overdue apology, Agent Boyle (Amor Owens) makes empty promises, and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) targeted threats!

General Hospital Spoilers: Unexpected Visits

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has gone to the Quartermaine mansion prior to Cates arriving to arrest him; Sonny, bargaining for his daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).

Cates blackmailed Sonny into turning himself in for all his crimes and confessing, and he told him he wanted to say goodbye to his sons first, at the mansion. Before he can leave, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) stops him-and ask if he’s trying to sneak out without seeing her.

It sounds like Sonny may be trying to leave before Cates has a chance to get there-but if Lois has anything to do with it, Cates may get a good dose of Bensonhurst lip! Not to mention a good dose of Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) who’ll escort him out forcibly!

GH Spoilers: Long Overdue Apologies

Elsewhere, Brook Lynn walked in on an argument between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Carly, and caught the end of it.

They were arguing about when Carly paid Brook Lynn to break up Dante and Lulu Spencer (most recently Emme Rylan) years ago.

Carly looks at Brook Lynn who seemed a bit crestfallen remembering the situation, and Carly tells her she didn’t say this before, but she’s sorry.

It truly wasn’t Carly’s place to interfere in her cousin’s relationship at the time, she wasn’t Lulu’s mother figure or even big sister!  Will Brook Lynn accept her apology, and more importantly, will Dante?

General Hospital Spoilers: An Angry Kristina Lashes Out

An angry Kristina lashes out at the PCPD, apparently after both Sonny has  left-she’s still in holding and she asks someone  a serious question. “How are you going to charge me with the death of my own child?”

One would hope that isn’t Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) she’s addressing-if so, Molly should recuse herself. More than likely Cates is still there and she’s lashing out at him.

Cates is poisoned with rage and vendettas and needs to be fired from the FBI. Even Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) who’s in the middle of his niece and his daughter would agree with that!

GH Spoilers: Empty Promises

Elsewhere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) is being whisked away from Port Charles in a car by FBI Agent Boyle (Amor Owens) who Ava suspects isn’t really an agent.

She snooped in her bag while Boyle got her a macchiato but couldn’t find any proof she wasn’t, just asked a lot of questions. Boyle is quite likely making empty promises as she tells Ava that her life is in Agent Cates’ hands.

There’s an excellent chance that Cates is just using Ava to get to Sonny, and all his promises to her for protection are  empty ones as well when he doesn’t need her!

General Hospital Spoilers: Targeted Threats

Back at the PCPD, Cates makes targeted threats at Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who’s representing her daughter as her lawyer.

She’ll likely be reminded of her conflict of interest in addition to Cates telling her one call to the bar association and he can make that go away!  Of course, he’s referring to her newly reacquired law license and her law career!

If looks could kill, Alexis would be arrested for murder of Cates, but then his looks at her are pretty threatening. She may be thinking is he stupid enough to deny Kristina her Miranda rights-or will he say FBI agents don’t need to honor them?

GH Spoilers: Lucky Is Threatened In Africa

Back at the African compound where Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) tried to help his friend Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) escape, he’s in trouble and threatened.

It looks like the big boss (Carlos Rota) and two of his guards-or should that be thugs-have Lucky sitting in a chair.

Obviously Lucky has been threatened with a specific unpleasant course of action as he tells the big boss that would not have been his first choice. How is Lucky going to get himself out of this situation-that’s an excellent question!
