General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, April 19 tease surprises, pleas, and negotiations.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) has surprises, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) makes pleas, and Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) negotiates.

Lois’ Surprises

At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois is excited as she tells Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) does she have surprises for them!

One might be that she convinced Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to attend Brook Lynn’s upcoming wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) after promising security with the help of Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi).

Lois is working on some other things as well, one helping with a backup in case Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has a problem at the wedding.

The time is getting closer, and the closer it gets, the more there is to do!

Josslyn’s Pleas

In the meantime, Josslyn is at Anna Devane’s office (Finola Hughes) freaking out about Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) joining the PCPD.

Josslyn is frantic as she pleads with Anna to turn him down, worried he’ll be a target for Sonny.

Anna looks concerned as she makes a call, telling someone to come to her office immediately.

Her mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) previously told Josslyn it’s up to Dex, but she’s not listening!

Nina’s Negotiations

It looks like Nina is in Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) office as she appears to be negotiating a deal.

She tells Drew it brings her one step closer to the real price. It sounds like she could be talking about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) recent offer to buy back her half of the Metro Court for Carly.

However, Drew and Nina will spar over the matter at hand, but will it wind up the way their last argument did? Or will they actually get things talked out still fully clothed?

Jason’s Gift

Meanwhile, at Bobbie’s, Nina looks pensive as Jason asks her if he had been there does she think it would have happened that way?

They could be talking about Carly losing her half of the Metro Court to Nina after being turned into the SEC for insider trading.

However, Jason does have a gift for her-perhaps Nina agreed to sell, or might this be a different gift? Either way, it looks like a very serious conversation.

Sonny Reacts

Meanwhile, back at Sonny’s penthouse, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has just told him about Dex becoming a cop and he’s reacting badly.

He’s sullen and angry as he whispers, “that’s unforgivable”! Of course the first thing on his mind is traitorous Dex now trying to take him down in a legal way.

Plainly, Sonny is spiraling and will continue to as long as the situation with his lesser strength meds isn’t solved. Why isn’t Ava telling him what she found out?
