GH Spoilers: Finn Faces New Lawsuit –Misdiagnosis Due To Drinking On The Job?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Dr. Finn Hamilton (Michael Easton) is going through a very hard time.

He just lost his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), and instead of reaching out to a loved one, he reached out for an alcoholic beverage.

This isn’t a good move for a recovering addict, and fans can’t help but think that this could be the beginning of a bonafide relapse for the good doctor. Will this all affect his job?

General Hospital Spoilers – Finn Hamilton Makes A Mistake On The Job

GH spoilers indicate that Finn should take a leave of absence from the hospital, but he likely won’t. He recently survived a very stressful incident where he and the hospital were sued for malpractice.

The case was dropped because Finn, along with the help of Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), proved he did nothing wrong; however, if lightning struck twice, would he be so lucky a second time?

Especially if was drunk and hiding it while taking care of a patient? What if he wasn’t “drunk” but consumed alcohol before heading to work? Then again, he could be accused of being drunk or high, and that may not be the case.

GH Spoilers – The Portia Robinson Factor

Finn’s recent lawsuit taught him a lot. He was in jeopardy of losing his medical license, and he learned, firsthand, how the hospital handles things of this nature.

Their top priority is ensuring they are protected, and that the medical facility didn’t necessarily care about Finn’s future.

Liz made a major fumble recently by telling co-chief of staff, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about Finn falling off the wagon. She confided in Portia as a friend; however, Liz should’ve kept her mouth shut or confided in someone else.

After all, Ms. Robinson is Finn’s boss. Still, the nurse opened Pandora’s box, and there’s no going back now.

If Finn is part of another malpractice suit, whether or not he makes a mistake or is drunk on the job, would Portia throw him under the bus, if push came to shove?
