GH Spoilers: Esme Prince Out Of Port Charles, Avery Kristen Pohl’s Exit Confirmed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Esme Kristen Prince (Avery Pohl) won’t be seen in Port Charles for a while.

A spokesperson for the show confirmed to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) that actress Avery Pohl has exited the show, and her final episode aired on Wednesday, January 31st, along with actor Nicholas Chavez (Spencer Cassadine).

GH Spoilers: Esme Prince’s History With The Soap

The actress debuted on the show in August 2021 and Esme quickly became the villainess fans loved to hate.

She was vile, scheming, manipulative, with an edge of evil, and it came as no surprise when it turned out she was the offspring of long-time villains Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Heather Webber (Alley Mills).

Alas, in the last year, viewers were hopeful that Esme may be on a road to redemption. Shortly before she gave birth to her son Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay), Ms. Prince suffered an accident and developed amnesia.

Still, with her memory loss and motherhood, the character seemed to be on a better path. Sadly, Esme recently regained her memories, and the old Ms. Prince came back with vengeance.

GH Spoilers: Will Esme Prince Be Back?

Actress Avery Pohl is leaving the canvas, along with actor Nicholas Chavez, and interestingly enough, both their characters took a long tumble overboard a cruise ship on Wednesday’s show.

Esme was looking for revenge against both Spencer and his gal pal Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), as her ex-boyfriend allowed Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) to skip town with her baby, Ace.

It’s well known that actor Nicholas Chavez is taking a hiatus from GH to film the Netflix series Monsters and will be back once that project is wrapped up; so, fans should expect to see him in some months ahead. As both Esme and Spencer both fell overboard together, will Esme resurface when Spence does? Only time will tell!
