GH Spoilers: Drew’s Personality Change Explained, Weaponized Against Sonny?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) personality has certainly changed since his time in prison.

Could Drew have been weaponized against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while he was away leading to his personality change? Could Peter August (ex-Wes Ramsey) have returned to make Drew do his bidding?

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Seems Like A Different Person

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Drew is acting like a completely different person. Drew, who used to be a loving father, has turned into what could only be seen as a tyrant in some situations.

Drew even decided to send his daughter off to boarding school without consulting her mother or considering her feelings at all.

When Drew’s young daughter began having nightmares over this decision he was unmoved by her pleas. Drew was not interested in anything Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) or their child had to say about this school.

Drew had made his decision and that was it. Sam had to override Drew’s decision and simply tell him that this just wasn’t going to happen.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Was Furious With Nina Reeves

Drew was furious to the point of violence with Nina once he learned the truth about her involvement in the SEC situation.

Drew could have punched Nina when he found out the truth and that is completely unlike him.

Drew has never had violent tendencies unless he has been under someone’s control. Drew isn’t even the confrontational type.

However, Nina’s actions led to him ending up in Pentonville and getting beaten almost to death. Drew was put in solitary, he was constantly taunted by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Drew came back as a completely different man. Drew is even having issues getting along with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) who he claims to love.

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Drew Cain Be Programmed?

Drew has been programmed before so being reprogrammed is not such a far-fetched idea.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) helped to bring the programming on Cassadine Island but reprogramming Drew while in prison wouldn’t have been so hard, especially if you have the guards under your thumb like some people. If Sonny has connections, his enemies do too.

Fans will remember that Peter’s body disappeared after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was sure that he died years ago. However, Peter could return and have programmed Drew to do his bidding.

Could Drew be programmed to take down Sonny? Remember, Drew has Jason’s memories which gives him complete access to Sonny’s security information as well. Is Drew the one behind the attacks on Sonny?
