General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) has been waiting for this day for months — ever since the late Congressman Larry McConkey (Sam McMurray) got his hopes up about taking his seat at the table in Congress.
Now, Drew has remained convinced — often only by Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — that he can make some serious changes for the people of New York, including those he loves back in Port Charles. His big win came in under the clock.
He may have been worried that his secret affair with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) could have come out and cost him everything, but he made it.
He’s headed to Washington, D.C., and it’s probably the best thing for him considering the drama he’s creating at home. But will Congress be enough to keep him away from Willow the way everyone else hopes?
General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Reeves Has Other Plans
Nina is confident that all the nonsense between Willow and Drew is in the past. He’s headed out of town soon, and she thinks it’ll be easiest for her to remain his side chick from a distance while Willow won’t be able to swing it.
Willow has a far less flexible career, a husband, and two children in Port Charles. She can’t just leave on a whim to spend even a day with Drew in D.C., let alone the kind of weekend Nina is looking forward to.
The more time that passes since Willow and Drew’s last engagement, the better Nina feels about pursuing the man she suspects Willow truly cares about.
GH Spoilers – Tease Willow Tait Doesn’t Really Want to Say Goodbye
Willow told Drew it’s likely for the best that he’s headed to D.C. after Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral, but did she mean it?
It’s paining her to think about saying goodbye to him. She’s been asking him for months to stay away from her, but she never really turned him away when he did end up in her orbit.
Clearly, she has trouble denying him — and her feelings for him. Will she feign acceptance of his departure though if she thinks there is no chance of them working as a couple anyway?
General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Ups The Ante
Michael clearly knows he has to get the truth off his chest to make any headway in his marriage. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was right. He won’t know if there is any future for him and Willow until he gets to hear her out and tell her what he’s done.
Laying all their cards on the table and coming clean about what they’ve both done might be the hardest, and yet the easiest, path to gain that kind of clarity. But is Willow’s insistence that it’s over with Drew going to fall on deaf ears?
Will Michael recognize that Willow only thinks there is hope because Drew won’t be around? Would her answer be the same if Drew were sticking around? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
