GH Spoilers: Does Anna Have Any Right To Expect Transparency From Jason?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is a man of few words. This isn’t news. He hasn’t changed.

Still, when Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) summons him to her office, she will be ready to read him the riot act for going rogue and working without her — and she’ll be wondering just how long he’s known about Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) diamond-caping escapade.

Why didn’t Jason tell her what Holly was up to? Shouldn’t Anna know by now exactly how Jason works and that discretion is of the utmost importance to him? Why does she think she deserves special treatment?

General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Morgan Kept His Mouth Shut

This may be a bit of a reach to begin with. Anna being angry with Jason for not telling him what Holly was up to isn’t surprising. This is Anna we’re talking about and she thinks she’s entitled to know everything everyone is up to in her territory.

That being said, Jason barely knew anything about this deal until a few days ago. This was Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bneard) deal with Holly — not his own.

Anna should know by now that Jason will never betray Sonny’s confidence or leak information to her about his business dealings on the other side of the law.

DeVane GH Spoilers – Hint Anna Has Treated Jason Morgan Differently

Anna doesn’t exactly treat Jason the same way that she does everyone else. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) wasn’t particularly wrong to call her out for working with Jason and accepting intel from him on Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) case.

Anna has broken moral conduct and police code to work with Jason, and even WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has taken note of how much she seems to trust Jason. On that note, it appears Anna expects Jason to treat her in kind, and that’s just not how he operates.

General Hospital Spoilers — As Usual, He’ll Smooth This Over

Still, we can expect there won’t be too many ruffled feathers from this exchange between them. Jason knows how to keep his distance without jeopardizing his relationships while still maintaining contact and not burning bridges.

He may not be planning to work with Anna anymore, but he knows it’s a strong alliance to have. Keeping her happy at the expense of his other relationships isn’t going to fly though.

That’s a lesson Anna will have to learn. Is there any way for these two to come together while working on opposite sides of the law?
