GH Spoilers: Dex’s Dose Of Reality May Be Too Much For Kristina To Bear

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) didn’t have to tell Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) the truth about her father for her to internalize it.

On some level, she already knew Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) was right, and that’s what made it sting so bad.

She wanted to defend Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and insist he wasn’t the man Joss claimed. She showed up at her sister’s place late at night hoping Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) would validate her feelings and tell her what she wanted to hear.

Without any of that reinforcement in place, Kristina got up the nerve to ask the source for the truth, and now she has to work on accepting the reality that her father may be the monster everyone says he is — while also being the dad she loves who has always supported her. Can she handle what lies ahead in reconciling this truth?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Truth Is Hard To Hear

Kristina hasn’t been the most stable person, historically. We’ve seen her bounce back and forth between reality and the fantasy she wants to live in more than a few times.

Over the years, accepting the cold hard truth hasn’t been her strong suit when it’s not what she wants to hear.

We know from past experience that this could lead to a breakdown — which is the last thing TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) or Molly want to see happen right now.

Furthermore, any mental instability on Kristina’s part could lead to her wanting to hang onto the only pure thing she thinks she has left in her life: her baby.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Support Awaits, But It Won’t Change Reality

Fortunately, Kristina has a lot of good people in her corner to help her pull through this tough time. She may struggle to let them in though when it appears they just want her to turn away from her father.

That pressure may come most heavily from Molly and TJ, who wouldn’t mind one bit if their baby’s biological mother, surrogate, and aunt wasn’t connected to a mob lord.

But again, their urging her to turn her back on Sonny could come back to bite them if she turns on them instead and wants to keep her (ahem, their) baby.

Alison ‘Blaze’ Ramirez is sure to be in Krissy’s corner, too, but she doesn’t have much experience with broken families and may not be able to relate to how Kristina feels.

Moreover, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will try to remain impartial, but we know Kristina always suspects the worst of opinions and intentions lurks behind her mother’s smile.

General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Corinthos Must Hold Back

Despite how Kristina comes to feel about her father’s actions, she may not be able to tell him about her change in perception of him. That’s because his relationship with her may be the only thing keeping Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) safe.

When Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) promised he wouldn’t let Sonny kill Dex, he knew he couldn’t physically prevent that from happening.

Short of keeping an eye on Sonny and all of his henchmen 24-7, Jason had to play hard ball by telling Sonny he would lose Kristina’s respect and love if he killed Dex.

But if Sonny sees that he has already lost Kristina’s support, he may feel he has nothing to lose. Will Jason be able to get Kristina to play along and stay in her dad’s life for Dex’s sake?
