GH Spoilers: Dex Joins The PCPD — And Joss Tries To Look The Other Way

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was delighted to let Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) know she’s not going to sell herself short as Police Commissioner — and he shouldn’t either.

With Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in her back pocket, Anna feels more determined than ever to work with Dex to put Sonny behind bars and finally clean up the beloved town she adores so much.

While Anna may be on Dex’s team, he’s just about the only person who will be. Dex can forget about maintaining an alliance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after they realize what he has done.

But losing those relationships hardly matters to Dex as long as he has a shot with Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy). Does he?

General Hospital Spoilers — Breakin Up Is Hard To Do

When Joss ended her relationship with Dex, it was purely based on principle. She couldn’t look at him the same way anymore after learning he was going to go through with killing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) — on Sonny’s orders — had the mob boss not stopped him just short of it.

Joss thought Dex was nothing like Sonny, and it appears she was able to tolerate him being an enforcer and security hand for the business, but a contracted killer draws the line.

Now, Dex is scrambling to find a way back into Joss’ good graces, and he may suspect a job on the PCPD police force is just the ticket to reshape the way she sees him. Will it work though?

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller Is A Changed Man, Right?

Crafting a new image for himself in Joss’ eyes will be easier said than done. Right now, she’s still grieving the loss of the man she thought Dex was.

Unable to see past the brutal mistake he almost made, and knowing it was a decision he was comfortable enough with to execute, Joss can’t bring herself to think about Dex in any way but as a traitor who blindsided and fooled her.

Maybe that wasn’t his intention, but it’s how she’s left feeling as she faces who he really is in contrast to who she wanted to believe he was. Will his new job on the right side of the law change the way she feels about parting ways with him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Makin Up Is Hard To Do

Joss drives a hard bargain. Just because Dex is suddenly willing to turn on Sonny doesn’t mean Joss is going to look at him in a more favorable light.

While she may be hoping her former stepdad goes to prison for the rest of his days, she will likely see Dex’s last-ditch effort to make that happen as a desperate plea for her reconsideration of their relationship.

Dex’s impromptu eagerness to switch sides and roll over on Sonny won’t seem well thought out, and she may question whether he’s serious about the path his life is on.

At the same time, she was expecting to never see him again. Bumping into him all over Port Charles isn’t going to help her mend her broken heart. Will she cave and give Dex another chance?
