GH Spoilers: Dante Must Hide His Grief For Sam As Lulu Wakes Up!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) has been by the bedside of his ex-wife Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) almost every moment since her grim diagnosis was revealed.

Lulu, who has been comatose for several years, is now facing liver failure and needs a transplant in order to survive. Dante and Lulu were divorced months before the explosion that put Lulu in coma, but that doesn’t mean he still doesn’t love her.

Although Lulu’s injuries were difficult for Dante, he eventually found love again with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

The duo has moved in together and are raising their blended family together. But now things have become even more complicated since Sam is the donor match that Lulu needs in order to survive.

Of course, even if the transplant operation works, there is no guarantee that Lulu will ever wake up. But still, Sam has agreed to go through with the risky surgery.

GH Spoilers – A Tragedy And A Miracle

But as viewers know, Sam is fated to die in the coming days. It’s not clear exactly what the circumstances of Sam’s death will be, but she’s not going to leave the hospital alive.

Sam’s family, including her mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be devastated, but Dante may have to hide his pain depending on what happens with Lulu.

Despite the odds against the surgery being successful, it looks as if Lulu will successfully come out of the surgery with a new lease on life. Not only that, but she may have yet another miracle during recovery,

At some point after Sam’s death, it looks like Lulu will wake up. It’s unclear if Lulu’s memory will be intact once she wakes up. There is every possibility that she will believe that she is still married to Dante.

And despite his pain over losing Sam, Dante may have to push those feelings aside in order to make sure Lulu’s recovery goes well.

This will be such a difficult time for everyone involved, but especially Dante. Will he even be able to look at Lulu the same way again without thinking about Sam’s tragic sacrifice?
