GH Spoilers: Dante Blames Sonny For Sam’s Tragic Fate

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) has been walking a fine line for years now.

On one hand, Dante is a police officer and is sworn to uphold the law. He’s good at what he does and pretty much does everything by the book.

But on the other hand, Dante discovered several years ago that his father is mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). Sonny and Dante were at odds in the beginning and Sonny actually shot Dante before he knew of their connection.

Even though things started off badly, Sonny and Dante were able to form a pretty strong bond as father and son.

Sonny leaves Dante out of any discussions about his business for the most part. And Dante avoids investigating any case that could possibly involve his father’s mob enterprise.

Of course, the lines have been blurred at times and because of that Dante actually considered leaving the force for a time. But Dante loves what he does. But he also loves his father.

GH Spoilers – FBI Agent John Cates Was Murdered

Dante is also in a relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the two of them are quite happy together. Sonny’s latest act may have permanent and deadly repercussions for Sam. Sonny murdered FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) in cold blood.

But Sam’s mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has been arrested for a crime that Sonny committed. Alexis was seen throwing a gun off the foot bridge into the murky river below. Because of that and her hatred for Cates, she has become the police’s main target.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall Is Going Diving

Sam is an expert diver, and she knows that if she can retrieve the gun that Alexis tossed, she can prove her mother innocent of murder.

No matter how skilled she is, there is a terrible undercurrent. it seems likely since Sam is slated to die later this year; she may meet a deadly fate while retrieving the gun.

If Sam does die trying to prove her mother innocent of a crime Sonny actually committed, it could be the final stray between father and son. Sonny may not only face prison time, but he could lose his son as well.
