GH Spoilers: Cyrus Saves Lulu, – Redemption Finally Comes For The Former Villain

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) recently turned up one of the last places anyone would have expected.

Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Cyrus’ half-sister, found Cyrus in Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) room at Silver Waters.

As viewers know, Lulu has been a patient in the long-term care facility for several years now ever since she was caught in an explosion at the Floating Rib.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer Has Been In A Coma!

Lulu has been in a coma ever since the explosion, but Laura hasn’t given up hope that she will eventually wake up. But Lulu’s condition has mostly remained unchanged, until now.

Unfortunately, Lulu’s liver appears to be failing and if that happens, she will die while in a comatose state.

Perhaps a liver transplant could save Lulu, and that might be why Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) will be returning home. But even Lucky may not be a match for his younger sister.

Their other brother Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) was once a bone marrow donor for Lulu, but this time he may not be a match either.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault Could Save The Day!

Laura wasn’t exactly happy to see Cyrus in Lulu’s room. Although Cyrus has claimed to have turned his life around, when he first came to Port Charles, he was a drug kingpin who wanted nothing more than to take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) territory.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) became one of Cyrus’ main targets due to his position as Sonny’s right-hand man. He’s the one responsible for the bomb that went off in the Floating Rib in an attempt to kill Jason. That means Cyrus is directly responsible for Lulu’s comatose state.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Has Given Cyrus Renault The Benefit Of Doubt

Cyrus eventually went to prison for his crimes but after a stint in Pentonville, a judge ordered he was too weak to stay in prison after he suffered a major heart attack.

Cyrus went free and has spent every moment trying to convince Laura that he has not only reformed but has found God as well. He’s only been somewhat successful. But Laura may not want Cyrus anywhere near Lulu, despite his claims since he is responsible for her condition.

Eventually, Laura might agree to let Cyrus be tested and he could potentially be a match for Lulu.

It would be ironic if Cyrus was the one who saves Lulu’s after everything he has done and could go a long way toward changing Laura’s mind about him once and for all. But Cyrus’ health isn’t great, so he could be putting himself at risk.
