GH Spoilers: Curtis Hires Lucky To Run The Savoy?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease like “grandfather”, like father, like son-might Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) be Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) replacement at The Savoy?

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) assured Marshall he could handle both the club and his Aurora duties, but that may not turn out to be the case!

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer’s Going To Need A Job Anyway

Lucky’s going to need a job anyway, and if he takes the job of manager at The Savoy, it would mark the continuation of a family legacy that spans many years.

Longtime fans will remember his father, Luke (Anthony Geary), who managed several nightlife venues, including Luke’s Place, Luke’s Blues Club, and the iconic Haunted Star, along with Mike Corbin (Max Gail).

Luke and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) ran clubs together before Luke went on the run, so Mike could be considered a grandfather figure to Lucky in a sense.

At least with Lucky in charge, we can rest easy knowing he’s unlikely to engage in shady side deals or elaborate schemes.

For those who followed Jonathan to his series “Nashville,” they may wonder if he’d shift the music genre, but keep in mind, he’s just managing it, not purchasing it!

GH Spoilers – The Haunted Star Is No More, Lulu Spencer Once Ran It

Running entertainment venues appears to be in the Spencer blood, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) ran The Haunted Star for a while, although now it is no more.

That’s another adjustment she’ll have to make, though it will be a while before she’s able and ready to go back to work.

Lucky’s going to need a job eventually, and one that’s safe and steady-he’s trying to rebuild his life and relationship with his son Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy).

He was a cop for the PCPD when he was in Port Charles, but with a cop, one never knows whether he’s coming home that night or not.

Even though he has the experience, Lucky would get bored with an administrative job, but running a club wouldn’t be so boring.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Future May Hold Other Things, But The Savoy Is A Start

It’s pretty obvious that Aiden is taking after the Eckert side, and with his baking talents he will want be a baker-it’s possible Lucky someday might run a bakery with his son.

Sly Eckert (Glenn Walker Harris Jr.) and Lucky used to be very close while Bill Eckert (Anthony Geary) was alive, but Sly lives in Europe.

So perhaps the Spencer side could run Eckert’s Bakery at some point in the future, but for Lucky, running The Savoy would be a start.

Running the Savoy minus Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) high stakes poker game in the basement should be much safer. Perhaps after a while doing that, it’ll be time to do something else; another idea might be he and Lulu go into business together.
