GH Spoilers: Cody And Sasha Not First Couple That Were Too Close For Comfort In The Family Tree

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) are absolutely wrecked over not being able to pursue their relationship with one another after the discovery that they are first cousins. T

he fans have been rather divided on what this should mean for their love story. Sasha made it known that they haven’t yet sealed the deal on their union, and that gave many fans relief who were cringing at the thought of getting romantic with their own first cousins.

We have to be honest, there have been a number of instances on GH where family overlaps in more than one way and few ever speak up about it. While it’s not quite kissing cousins, it’s not not cringeworthy either.

It’s going to be a real family affair at Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) funeral. After all, her family was Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) family, and then some.

Dante and Sam shared a sister in Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), though it was beecause Sam and Kristina have the same mom and Dante and Kristina have the same dad. So, no blood relation.

However, they also share a brother in Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) since his father was Julian Jerome (William deVry) and his mother is Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).

Furthermore, way back in the day, Sam actually gave birth to Dante’s baby sister — Lila McCall — who was born sleeping; they shared a father in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

If that’s not enough, Sam once hooked up with Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), too, who was Dante’s former brother-in-law when he was married to Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins). Shew!

GH Spoilers – Hint Willow Tait’s Situation Isn’t Perfectly Clean

Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) certainly isn’t the saint she was painted to be back when she was a schoolteacher new to town and a perpetual victim of her mother and the dangerous cult she brought her up in.

Now, she’s become what many would say is quite the harlot. She’s sleeping with her husband’s uncle, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) — a guy who just happened to also be sleeping with Willow’s mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

She feels awfully guilty about cheating on Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — who was once coupled up with Willow’s late twin sister, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

The twins’ father — the late Silas Clay (Michael Easton) — was once married to Nina but also fathered the late Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), whose mother — Ava Jerome (Maura West) is also mother to Michael’s little sister, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola). Confused yet?

Not only did Sonny have a baby with Sam, but Sam went on to have children with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his twin brother, Drew.

It seems that all of Sonny’s women end up moving on to people rather close to the mob boss. For example, Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) may have loved Sonny, but she later loved on his son, Dante, too.

Sonny’s ex-wife times four, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), has coupled up with Drew and Jason. Sonny’s other son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) hooked up with Ava; like father like son?

Sonny’s brother — Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) — raped Claudia Zacharra (Sarah Joy Brown), who was yet another one of Sonny’s wives.

Ric also married Nina, who would go on to marry Sonny many years later. Ric also married Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) — an old flame of Jason’s, and Alexis Davis (Nancy lee Grahn), who had a child with both Ric and Sonny.
