GH Spoilers: Caught Between Two Dads – Will Lucky’s Return Cause Friction Between Jake & Jason?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that fans are excited about Lucky Spencer’s return, as Jonathan Jackson is set to reprise the role this summer.

Lucky is sure to reconnect with friends, family, and loved ones upon his comeback to the little town; however, one interesting reunion will be between his sons, Aiden Webber (Tristan Riggs) and Jake Webber (Hudson West).

Everyone knows that Jake is Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) bio son, and Aiden is Lucky’s bio son; however, for some time, Lucky raised Jake as his own. Will he be looking to reconnect with his “other” son, and how much friction could this cause Jake and Jason’s budding bond?

General Hospital Spoilers – Jake Webber Is Finally Opening Up To Jason Morgan

GH spoilers hint that Jake wasn’t overly thrilled about Jason’s return when “Stone Cold” first made his comeback in March. He believed that Jason shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and he wasn’t eager to reconnect with his bio dad.

Unlike his brother Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Jake wanted nothing to do with Jason; however, as time has passed, he has slowly started to open up.

In fact, fans were very excited when it was Jason reached out to help his mom, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) when she had a face-off with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Jason and Jake are on the cusp of reconnecting, but could Lucky’s return blow this out of the water?

GH Spoilers – Lucky Spencer Has Been There For Jake Spencer

The reason Lucky was Jake’s first father figure is because Elizabeth was with him when she and Jason had their one-night stand that resulted in her pregnancy.

In all fairness, Lucky had betrayed Liz because of his drug addiction and was having an affair with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Jason also found out that his then-love, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was cheating on him with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), which is why Liason leaned on each other.

Still, Lucky did get clean when he found out Elizabeth was pregnant, and while she kept the secret of Jake’s true paternity for a while, once the truth was revealed, Lucky, Liz, Jason, and Sam decided to keep things hush-hush to protect Jake.

Of course, after Jake’s presumed death, and eventual return to PC, not to mention Jason’s “return” to the town after his first presumed death, all the secrecy was thrown out the window.

Another important part to all this was the fact that Lucky was the one who rescued and returned Jake to Port Charles. At that point in time, Jake was told that both Lucky and Jason were his dads.

Sure, Lucky has been out of the picture for close to a decade, but considering all that he did for Jake, will the young man feel torn about continuing his bond with Jason, upon his “other” dad’s return?

Jason won’t have any issues with Jake and Lucky reconnecting, but he may secretly be sad that he can’t establish the same bond they have. There’s also the idea that Lucky’s return is linked closely to wanting to be there more for his sons.

Jake could abandon the idea of having a relationship with Jason, in light of Lucky’s return. Especially if there is an “instant” connection.
