GH Spoilers: Carly’s Friendship With Brennan Brings Jealousy From Sonny

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) does whatever she wants. Despite the fact that she enjoys telling other people how they run their lives, Carly rebels when anyone tries to tell her about her own life.

Case in point: Carly was full of opinions about how her son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) should deal with Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) infidelity. She desperately warned Michael from allowing Willow to take the children to stay with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Reeves).

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Is A Protective Mother!

Carly is protective of all her children, especially Michael. it makes sense that she’s looking out for her son’s best interests, but sometimes she takes things too far, especially when she takes matters into her own hands.

She’s already warned Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that she’s going to find a way to make Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) pay for sleeping with Willow. Jason has tried to talk her out of getting involved, but whether or not Carly actually listened remains to be seen.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer And Jack Brennan Have Gotten Close

Meanwhile, Carly herself doesn’t really listen to Jason’s advice at all. He warned her time and time again to stay away from Jack Brennan (Charles Brennan).

Brennan may be working with the WSB solely right now, but it wasn’t that long ago, he was knee deep in the whole Pikeman mess.

While it’s not exactly clear how much of Brennan’s actions were part of a WSB assignment and how much his own criminal culpability, Jason certainly has more than enough reason to want Carly to stay away from him.

General Hospital Spoilers – Christmas With Carly Spencer And Sonny Corinthos

Carly hosted Christmas Eve at her home with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) in attendance.

Carly and Sonny had been married for years and even recently had to pretend they were still an item when Sonny needed Carly for an alibi for the murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) earlier this year.

They have seemingly moved on from any truly romantic feelings for each other, but that doesn’t mean that Sonny approves of Carly’s friendship with Brennan.

Sonny has likely heard plenty about Brennan from Jason, and besides he will always be a bit possessive of Carly, even to the point of a little jealousy.
