GH Spoilers: Cameron Mathison Address Online Buzz Regarding Drew Quartermaine’s Exit

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) is a shadow of what he used to be.

It seems as if the GH writing team has written the character into a corner, and with Drew winning the congressman position, there’s been some online buzz that he could be exiting and heading off to Washington.

The character’s portrayer recently addressed the speculation, offering some interesting insight.

Cameron recently posted an Instagram video, and GH fans flooded the comment section. One follower commented on how they hoped he wasn’t leaving the soap, in light of all that’s happened as of late.

Mathison replied on Thursday, November 14, “I love it there and have no plans on leaving!”

Cameron is quite busy right now, not only working with Great American Family (GAF) but also as a host for the Game Show Network’s ‘Beat the Bridge’.

Still, it looks like he’ll continue to squeeze GH into his crazy work schedule, and Drew Quartermaine will remain in Port Charles.

GH Spoilers – Drew Quartermaine’s Insane Storyline

About a year ago, no fan would’ve ever fathomed what Drew would be up to, today. Not only has he actively pursued his nephew’s, Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) wife, but he’s kissed her and recently did the deed with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) in the nursery of the Q mansion.

#TeamJason fans were happy that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) got some punches in during their recent confrontation on the Thursday, November 14 episode before Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) split the pair up.

While it would make sense if Drew exited, as he is now a congressman, it does look like a ‘who’s your daddy?” storyline could be on the horizon for Drew, Michael, and Willow.

Then again, with Kelly Monaco’s recent shocking exit, the show could decide to go another route and have Drew exit at the drop of a hat. Only time will tell.
