GH Spoilers: Brennan’s Leverage, Demands To See Carly In Exchange For Information

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 29-February 2 indicate that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will team to get down to the bottom of who shot Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).

While Jordan was close to cracking the case, two FBI agents stopped her dead in her tracks. She solicited Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) help, and he found out that the call she got was from a burner phone, which came from Pentonville.

GH spoilers note that Anna and Jordan put their heads together after getting the information they needed from Brick and realized that her contact must have been John Brennan (Charles Mesure).

It looks like they’ll pay the former WSB head a visit in prison. Added teasers imply that Brennan will probably play some mind games before he gets down to business.

He’s ready to spill some information, after all, he wouldn’t have reached out to Jordan in the first place if he wasn’t.

But was this all in an effort to see someone he was a tad obsessed with while he was in Port Charles?

GH Spoilers – John Brennan Goes To Extreme Lengths To See Carly Spencer

It’s unclear if Brennan had a legitimate infatuation with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or if his efforts to get to know her were because she was married (and still very close with) Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Regardless, the storyline never explored that, but fans did notice a certain chemistry between them, and Brennan did go above and beyond to connect with Carly.

If his feelings were genuine, he may tell Anna and Jordan that he has information on Curtis’s shooter but is only willing to spill it if he can see Carly.

Perhaps he even suggests that Ms. Spencer be the “go-between” when it comes to relaying info to Anna and Jordan.

Devane and Ashford will be skeptical at first, as they won’t want to get Carly involved because of the danger in it all, but will they have any choice?

Still, both ladies know that after being married to Sonny for so long, Carly is seasoned enough to gather information and not reveal too much.

Brennan was only on the soap for a short while, but GH fans were completely intrigued by the character. Is there a chance that he re-enters storylines for a more permanent gig? Is there hope for a Brennan-Carly arc to unravel here?

Will Brennan try and use what he knows as leverage to see Carly?
