GH Spoilers: Brennan Uses RICO Violations Tape To Blackmail Carly Into Working For WSB

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) saved the day for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in a big way when he single-handedly wiped out the recording that pinned her for RICO violations.

All charges were dropped, and Carly can now enjoy her freedom without John “Jagger” Cates holding the evidence above her head, and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) for that matter. Still, does Brennan have ulterior motives?

General Hospital Spoilers – Jack Brennan Has His Eye On Carly Spencer

GH spoilers hint that Brennan likes Carly, on so many different levels. It’s clear he has a crush on her and likely did what he did because he has romantic intentions, but he also seems to respect the former mob boss’s wife.

During a scene where Carly visited Brennan at Pentonville recently, Brennan mentioned that he was impressed with her sleuthing ways and suggested she’d make a great super spy. Carly laughed the idea off, but could he have a specific job in mind for her?

GH Spoilers – Jack Brennan’s Blackmailing Motives

John Cates blackmailed Jason into becoming an FBI informant using that recording of Carly. While it’s been wiped out, this doesn’t mean that Jack doesn’t have a copy of it. Could Brennan pull a fast one and turn the script?

Could he have a specific project in mind for Carly to dive into? As Brennan works for the WSB, the case won’t involve Carly having to turn her back on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or busting him for something.

Brennan knows she’s fiercely loyal to the ones she loves; however, Brennan may be able to use her cunning ways to help save the world for another project.

He also knows that her family resides in Port Charles, so perhaps the work she’d do on this case wouldn’t be overly dangerous, just a side spy investigative work within the little town.

Working on this case would place Carly right in Brennan’s orbit. He obviously has romantic intentions, so it would mean the two would spend more time together and bond on some level.

This is the land of soap operas, where anything is possible, so will Brennan use the recording of RICO violations to blackmail Carly to help him on a WSB case?
