Blaze had agreed with her mother, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue), that it would be best for her to keep her relationship with a woman on the down-low while she’s still developing her career in the music industry.
Besides, Blaze’s mom isn’t even convinced that her daughter is gay and thinks this is just a phase she’s going through on the heels of being abused by Linc Brown (Dan Buran).
However, recent conversations with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have Blaze’s wheels turning thinking about the life she could be having if she were as honest with her fans as she has been with herself, her mother, and Kristina.
Will Blaze and Kristina lend any thought to what might transpire if they out their relationship to the press while Kristina is sporting a baby bump?
It’s understandable that when Blaze comes to the conclusion that she wants to come out of the closet, she may not give many people a heads-up about it.
We can hope that she’ll loop Kristina into her plans before releasing that news into the wild, but that’s up in the air as well right now.
What we can expect is that Blaze probably won’t give her mom any advance notice — knowing Natalia would try every trick in the book to stop her, not stopping short of guilt-tripping and manipulation tactics.
Will these two lovebirds get carried away with their whirlwind romance and fail to think ahead about what this kind of scrutiny could bring forth for TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos)
TJ is already fairly upset about the way Kristina has been handling her pregnancy with his baby. This has been delicate territory for TJ and Molly to tread through.
Kristina holds all of the power in many respects, and the last thing they want to do is stress her out.
Every time TJ voices a concern he has about her sister, Molly defends her and tries to assuage her fears.
Is she just looking out for everyone involved, or does she also sense on some level that they should never have trusted Kristina with this arrangement but it’s just too late to turn back now?
Regardless, when the press starts to make assumptions about Kristina’s pregnant belly, TJ and Molly might diverge with her on how to handle the situation. Seeking privacy could be ideal for them, but not at all for Kristina.
Besides, if Kristina doesn’t answer for her growing bump, then the press is going to start to make up their own narrative and dig until they find the truth.
Whether the press discovers the truth or has Kristina’s help in the process is really irrelevant.
The stories that follow will dish up mixed emotions for everyone involved. Blaze may come to feel guilty for turning Kristina’s life upside down.
The whole time, she’s thought about what her coming out would do to her own life — not her girlfriend’s, or Kristina’s extended family she’s intertwined with.
TJ and Molly may have to deal with the backlash of the media, but Kristina may come to internalize some of the headlines that paint her as less-than for giving up her child for her sister to raise.
Will the pressure from outside of her own little world make Kristina doubt her ability to follow through with this arrangement? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
