GH Spoilers: Ava’s Desperate Move, Works Out Witness Protection Deal With Jagger?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) might take a page out of her late brother Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) playbook.

Viewers were shocked to see John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) eavesdropping on her and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and asking if she needed help!

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Working With Jagger?

No one could have anticipated Ava working with Jagger, but there is one aspect that might make sense-Jagger could have been following Sonny, but Ava needs to solve a problem.

Jagger wants Sonny in prison and if Ava helps by throwing Sonny under the bus by testifying against him, it’s a win-win for both.

Ava might lose her art business by taking the witness protection route like Julian did, but she keeps her daughter Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

It may be a difficult adjustment for both Ava and Avery to make, but especially with Sonny on placebos thanks to Ava, it’s going to be a lot safer for both. It’s a fair trade for a new life and Sonny never being able to find them.

GH Spoilers: Full Circle

It would be a full circle for Ava, who came to Port Charles with her late older daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) when Julian had come as Derek Wells, a publisher.

Ava had tried to protect her brother’s true identity by taking out Sonny’s then fiancée Kate Howard aka Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan); she’d threatened to expose him.

As it turned out, she needn’t have worried-Julian could not be prosecuted for any previous crimes due to his having been in witness protection. Besides, he more than redeemed himself saving Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) life by donating his bone marrow which cured Danny’s childhood leukemia.

Now Ava thinks maybe her best option is to make a deal with Jagger for witness protection by testifying against Sonny, but only if given full immunity for previous crimes committed.

General Hospital Spoilers: It’s A Deal

Jagger already has a laundry list of crimes he could take Sonny down for but the Pikeman issue has gotten in the way, Initially, he was supposed to protect Sonny from a killer taking out mob bosses, which is why he “recruited” Jason Morgan; (Steve Burton) make that blackmailed!

There isn’t really anyone else that Ava would have information on other than Sonny who’s still alive that she could testify against, still Jagger agrees to the deal.

Jagger knows that Jason won’t testify against Sonny and he especially won’t testify against Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) who he blackmailed him with regarding her SEC charges.

So he tells Ava he has to jump through a few hoops and supervisors, but he’ll be glad to get things set up-Ava is so relieved!
