GH Spoilers: Ava Didn’t Swap Sonny’s Meds — So Who Did?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) was rather surprised when she downed a couple of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) meds for Bipolar Disorder and found they have no effect on her at all.

She may find she can use this insight to her advantage in manipulating Sonny — something we’ve already seen her do when she hid his phone from him after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) woke up from his coma, all so she wouldn’t lose his attention for the evening.

Nevertheless, fans have been wondering if Ava was the one swamping Sonny’s pills for placebos — just like she did with his son in the past.

But as it turns out, something else is amiss. As Ava aims to use this knowledge to suit her own selfish desires, will she also try to get to the bottom of who is swamping Sonny’s meds?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Needs An Excuse

It could be that Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) has somehow managed to switch Sonny’s meds out so that he would spiral out of control.

While it’s unlikely that this would have helped her while she was married to him, Nina may have the connections necessary to alter Sonny’s meds since she’s been ousted from the marital home.

Causing him to have a Bipolar meltdown off his meds might be how Nina envisions him welcoming her back into his life — out of necessity and emotional instability.

GH Spoilers – Say Valentin Is Pikeman

It’s also possible that the enemy who has been trying to take Sonny out over the last year — Pikeman — could be responsible for his recently erratic behavior.

If they are paying off the pharmacist to tamper with Sonny’s meds, it might be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) pulling those strings behind the curtain.

The more unstable Sonny is, the easier he may be to defeat — or take out altogether. It’s still unclear what Pikeman wants exactly, besides Sonny’s head on a spit.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jagger Is The Enemy

It’s equally possible that Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) came to town with an agenda. Whether he’s working with Pikeman or not is irrelevant. It may not be a directive Pikeman even knows about.

Jagger could be arranging for Sonny’s medication to be sabotaged all on his own. This may be a means to capture a renowned mafia mastermind, but it’s also likely a ploy for getting revenge against the man he blames for his brother’s death.
