GH Spoilers: Anna And Agent Cates Play A Sexy Game Of Cat And Mouse

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) would like nothing more than to put Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) in jail for the rest of his life.

Unfortunately for Cates, he’s in town on case where he is forced to keep Sonny safe. Someone is targeting mob bosses all over the country, and Sonny himself has been targeted several times.

In order to do this, he has partnered with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), who has just once again taken on the role of Police Commissioner. Their partnership has been tenuous at best. But John hasn’t been completely honest with Anna either!

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates Has A Secret!

As viewers know, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) came to town claiming to be working as a mercenary. He was included on a mission to kill Sonny, presumably for the people John is looking for. But then Jason flashed back to a meeting with John.

It was clear from this encounter that John was blackmailing Jason. But what isn’t clear is exactly what Jason’s mission for John is.

While it’s possible that John is actually the one targeting mob bosses, it seems just as likely that John has enlisted Jason to go undercover as part of his plan to get the person trying to kill Sonny.

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Doesn’t Know The Whole Truth!

Whatever John is really up to, he hasn’t told Anna anything about his connection to Jason. In fact, he’s publicly made it his priority to catch Jason and arrest him in connection with not only the attempted murder of Sonny, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) as well.

Now that Jason has turned himself into authorities, John may not have any choice but to come clean with Anna. If not, he will have to find a way to keep Jason’s cover, perhaps by helping him fake an escape.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane Won’t Stay In The Dark!

Anna is a former spy. If she hadn’t already discovered that John isn’t being completely honest, then she soon will be.

To that end, she may put herself in close proximity to John in order to find out the truth. But could their mutual suspicion turn to passion?

If John is truly one of the good guys this could be the beginning of a brand-new romance. But that’s assuming they can be honest with each other going forward.
