GH Kate Mansi Champions DOOL Abigail’s Return-Could A ‘Chabby’ Reunion Be On The Horizon?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is currently navigating a whirlwind of drama.

Meanwhile, Kate, who also played Abigail DiMera on Days of Our Lives, finds herself feeling nostalgic about her past role, especially given the intense happenings unfolding in that soap opera!

General Hospital Spoilers – Kate Mansi Played Abigail DiMera From 2011-2020 On And Off

Many fans are aware that before Mansi took on the role of Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) daughter in 2023, she portrayed Abigail on DOOL  intermittently from 2011 to 2020.

Abigail’s character met her demise in July 2022 while Marci Miller, the actress who switched off with Kate was still in the role.

In a recent interview with Women’s World, Mansi expressed her hope for a future reunion between Abigail and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), the beloved couple known as ‘Chabby’ among DOOL fans.

 She described their relationship as a “beautiful love story” and admitted that saying goodbye to Abby was a “very hard” experience for her.

Mansi also acknowledges the strong chemistry she shared with Billy Flynn, which resulted in captivating stories, adding, “…there’s so much more to discover and delve into.”

There’s still plenty of opportunity and time for something like this to unfold, and many fans of DOOL would be thrilled to see the streaming platform lure Mansi back from GH! At present, Chad believes that Abby has miraculously returned from the dead.

However, viewers are aware that the woman (AnnaLynne McCord) pretending to be his wife is actually working with Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) for reasons yet to be revealed.

By manipulating the blonde’s DNA test at the hospital, Mark has made it appear as though she is biologically connected to Abby’s father, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), but she’s not.

This woman is not the real Abigail Deveraux DiMera, but it will take some time for the truth to come out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kate Mansi Could Actually Play Abigail On DOOL And Kristina On GH Concurrently

Just because the mystery woman isn’t  Abby it  doesn’t rule out the possibility she survived, even after being stabbed multiple times by Clyde Weston (James Read) and dying in Chad’s arms.

Even though Kristina (and Kate) seem to be firmly established in Port Charles, there’s always a chance for unexpected twists that could lead to a character departure or even a recast!

This could pave the way for Mansi to make a return to DOOL, and it’s wonderful to see how much the actress is cherished on both shows!

She could even play both because of DOOL’s taping schedule- we can’t forget about Wally Kurth, who portrays Ned Quartermaine on GH and Justin Kiriakis on Days!

Steve Burton overlapped airing part of the time he played Harris Michaels on DOOL and returned as Jason Morgan to GH, so it’s very possible.
