GH Amanda Setton Expecting? Could The Soap Recast Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase Again?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Brook Lynn Quatermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) have agreed to start ‘trying’ for a baby!

This is all exciting news; however, fans know that when a couple decides to expand their family, challenges tend to ensue.

After all, look at what happened to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) when they went on their journey to conceive!

As it is unlikely that BLQ will become pregnant right away, so how complicated would things get on set if the character’s portrayer ended up expecting?

General Hospital’s – Amanda Setton’s Last Exit

GH spoilers remind fans that actress Amanda Setton went on maternity leave back in 2020 when she was expecting her third child with hubby, Ryan Lynn. Actress Brianna Lane stepped in at the time until Setton returned.

There’s been some speculation that Setton could be pregnant as the character tends to wear blazers a lot lately.

This could just be a fashion statement, and online fans tend to buzz whenever there’s a slight wardrobe change for a character, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.

After all, neither the actress nor soap opera has yet to announce anything. If Amanda is expecting, would Brianna – or another actress step in for a maternity leave?

GH’s – BLQ & Chase – Happily Ever After

Then again, maybe all this baby talk from Brook Lynn and Chase is because Setton is pregnant, and the show is setting up a baby storyline for the Port Charles super couple.

Babies tend to bring on the drama with baby switch and ‘who’s your daddy’ storylines, but perhaps this one can be different for a change and the good times can continue to roll for both Chase and BLQ.

Of course, Setton would wear blazers until BLQ finds out she’s pregnant, and then the character can show off her pregnancy as she enjoys the wonderful moments of planning for her baby! Only time will tell how this all pans out.
