GH Alum Marcus Coloma Shares Shocking Medical Issue With Fans

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that even though actor Marcus Coloma has left the soap, exiting the Nikolas Cassadine role in 2023, he’s been busy with other things.

In fact, many GH fans love some videos he and former GH colleague Kin Shriner (Scotty Baldwin) upload and share on social media.

The two do some hilarious things within an online series titled “2 D—ks”. Still, Coloma recently shared an Instagram video about something that was far from funny.

Coloma recently uploaded a video to Instagram, where the caption simply had a heart emoji.
The video started with him playing piano and singing quietly, as a montage of clips of him in a hospital bed began to unfold, while also coming back to him on the piano.

Coloma narrated the video and began by saying he had a heart procedure done on Monday, November 11.

He added that for the past 3-4 years he secretly thought he was dying, and he knew he was being dramatic, but it was there and depressing. He goes on to say that he knew something was wrong, but no one could tell him what it was.

Coloma continued in the IG video by noting that ‘finally’ a physical therapist checked his heart and found something weird, which opened the door. He ended up going to a cardiologist and having a procedure done.

The actor states that the doctor said to him, “In 40 years, thousands of surgeries, I’ve never seen a heart like yours.”

Coloma jokingly stated, “We all knew my heart was one in a million, right?”

Still, while surgery is scary, the actor notes that the good news is that his heart is fixed, and he should be healthy moving forward with no more issues. He closes the IG video with, “And I’m very grateful.” Fans of his are grateful he followed his “heart” and got it checked out!
