General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, August 14 tease “wake up calls,” making confessions, and offers too irresistible to be refused. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a “wake up call,” Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) a confession, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) an offer that may be too irresistible to refuse!
Drew gives Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a “wake up call” after the two appear to have spent the night together in bed. He rolls over and says that was a great way to start the day!
Nina’s out of the loop and is giving in to her lust to keep Drew distracted from her daughter Willow-but at least she appears to be having fun!
The question is now, will Nina continue to go with Drew on all his campaign trips? It kind of is starting to look “official” between them!
In the meantime, Willow is in the Quartermaine kitchen making a confession to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). She explains that “from now on we won’t be seeing each other there.”
She’s likely talking about running into Drew, which had started to become problematic-she quit the job he gave her and went back to nursing at the hospital. Sasha will likely confirm that Willow made the right choice, it’s always better to avoid temptation than try to fight it.
Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) are outside, likely near the Quartermaine stables as she tells him she’s planning on taking him for a ride!
Tracy recently recovered from a horse bite-something unusual given that Tracy’s an experienced horsewoman. But then, said horse did happen to be named “Satan” so perhaps the devil got into him!
The presumption is that Tracy is taking Cody for a ride on horseback. Perhaps after her history lesson-slash-tea party with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) she wants to show him where she used to ride when she was younger.
It looks like Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) is outside on the deck when she gets a phone call. She answers with a surprised look on her face, and asks the caller “what kind of proposition?”
Considering Alison Rogers aka Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) abandoned the tour with Miguel Morez (Ricky Martin) and fired her mother, perhaps it’s her who’s calling Brook Lynn.
Brook Lynn has had a record label in the works for Blaze, although some bugs had to be worked out between Sonny and her mother Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).
In the meantime, it appears that Lois is also out on the deck as well as Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). He tells Lois there may not be as many of “those” as he thought.
It looks like they’re just having a little family chat, as he lives in the Quartermaine mansion also. However, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also turn up and open up to Gio.
It’s been a few days since they together helped get Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) out of the Metro Court pool. Perhaps they talk about that and updates on Kristina.
In the meantime, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) has gone over to Sonny’s penthouse to say goodbye. After being fired by her daughter, she says there’s no reason for her to stick around. Sonny asks her, what if he gives her one?
Just what does Sonny have in mind, asking Natalia to move in? They haven’t exactly been real dating, so maybe he’s just trying to convince her to stay so they can.
