General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, March 5 tease newfound freedoms, sticking to plans, and help from a friend.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) has a chance for newfound freedoms, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) advises to stick to the plans, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) gets unexpected help from a friend.

General Hospital Spoilers – Newfound Freedoms

At the Ashford-Robinson home, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) strongly encourages Marshall to tell Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about his misdiagnosis. Now it’s confirmed that what Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) suspected several months ago is true-Marshall was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia.

If he’d only known it years ago he’d never have left his family to protect them from himself.

Stella is emotional as she tells Marshall this is his chance to set himself free. She manages to convince him to tell Curtis.

GH Spoilers – Happenings And Changes

At the Quartermaine mansion, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) talks to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Sam tells Olivia that something happened that changed everything. Obviously, neither one knows Dante was shot at the docks, let alone that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is alive and with him.

Sam may be talking about Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) odd behavior as of late and also may be talking about Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) rebellion. Soon, they’ll have some unbelievable news to talk about!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sticking To Plans

Elsewhere, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn are in a car on the way back to Port Charles from Rockland. Josslyn tells Dex they’ll stick to the plan and they’ll go into Port Charles together. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had called Josslyn, asking her to bring Dex back so Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have backup.

Dangerous and unbelievable things are happening back in Port Charles. Sonny’s definitely going to need backup and help!

GH Spoilers – Unexpected Help From A Friend

At the docks, Jason is on the ground with Dante, and it looks like Dante is seriously injured-even though he had on a bulletproof vest, he took at least one bullet. As Dante is bleeding from the mouth, Jason tells him he will help him.

Jason was cooperating when Dante was holding a gun on him and putting his hands behind his head. But the mystery man with Jason doubled back and appeared to try to shoot Jason and shot Dante! Jason shot the mystery man dead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos On The Wrong Side Of John Cates

Meanwhile, back at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) warehouse, Sonny’s hit a sore spot and gotten on the wrong side of John Cates (Adam Harrington)! He looks at Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who’ll get some tragic news, and asks if he’s under arrest; possibly by this time Dante’s been found, although Jason will sneak away!

Anna knows that Sonny couldn’t have shot Dante, he was inside the warehouse with them the whole time.

But possibly Anna is telling Sonny what happened to Dante so they can get over to GH. Surely Jason called for an ambulance by now!

GH Spoilers – Sneak Attack

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) continues to attempt an escape as she sneaks up behind the guard and tries to strangle him with her handcuffs. She managed to pick the handcuff locks with a paper clip she somehow got ahold of.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will act fast in a crisis, and still at the hospital with Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) she may intervene and catch Heather! It certainly sounds like a crisis is happening at GH!
