General Hospital Spoilers: Sam Feels Dante Slipping Away!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) had seemingly moved on from his past when he found love with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). But before he was with Sam, Dante was married to Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) for a long time.

But Dante left Port Charles for many months in order to take an undercover assignment overseas and when he returned, he wasn’t the same. Dante had been brainwashed and he needed to get help, so he left town again to be deprogrammed by the WSB.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Filed For Divorce

Dante had no idea how long he would be gone or if he would ever be able to return to Lulu, so he sent her divorce papers. Lulu struggled with Dante’s decision for a while but ultimately agreed to the divorce. She then became involved with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson).

Dante came home just as Dustin was planning to propose to Lulu. Unfortunately, tragedy struck at that very moment when Dustin and Lulu were caught in an explosion at the Floating Rib. Dustin died almost immediately, and Lulu ended up comatose.

GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer May Die!

Lulu has been in a coma ever since and now her liver is failing. Ever since Dante learned of Lulu’s new condition, he has been at General Hospital near Lulu’s bedside. Sam has been understanding because Lulu meant so much to Dante and is the mother of his son.

Besides, Sam knows that Dante and Lulu weren’t together at the time of the explosion. But Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) knows a secret that could change everything. Before she fell into a coma, Lulu confided in Maxie that she was still in love with Dante.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dante Falconeri Has No Idea That Lulu Spencer Was Still In Love With Him

Dante incorrectly believes that Lulu was going to accept Dustin’s proposal before he died. That made it easier for him to move on with Sam. But when and if Maxie reveals the truth to Dante, he may realize that his own feelings for Lulu are still there as well.

Sam might slowly realize that Dante is slipping away from her. Rumor has it that Sam will soon die anyway, but her death would be all the more tragic if she died knowing that Dante was still in love with Lulu and not her.
