General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, January 5 tease uncomfortable answers, parenting arguments and compassionate advice.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has uncomfortable answers, Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) in a parenting argument and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) gives compassionate advice.

General Hospital Spoilers – Uncomfortable Answers

At GH, Cyrus has some uncomfortable answers for Laura Collins (Genie Francis). She wanted to know who beat him up and he tells her once she knows the answer she may well be sorry she asked.

Cyrus knows that Laura and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been friends for a very long time, back to when she was still with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).

Not only could this interfere with Sonny and Laura’s long friendship, it could create a predicament for someone else as well. What if Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is the one assigned to the case and he has to arrest Sonny?

GH Spoilers – Parenting Arguments

Drew does not react well to Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) decision to not put Emily “Scout” Cain (Cosette Abinante) in Westwood School. Sam looks almost afraid of him as he uncharacteristically lashes out and shouts does she get the final word when it comes to what’s best for their daughter?

There’s definitely something going on with Drew that’s not like him since he returned from Pentonville.

Surely, Sam will tell Drew that Scout was having nightmares about the change of school-she wants to stay with her friends. She had a nightmare about the Westwood School teacher being a monster she couldn’t get away from.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sad Reminiscing

Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) in tears as she and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) reminisce about Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman).

Word is spreading about her death through Port Charles, and Anna tells Felicia Bobbie wouldn’t want her to do something alone. Felicia and Bobbie were best friends back in the day and sisters-in law as well.

That was when Felicia was married to Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) and Bobbie to Tony Jones (Brad Maule). Not to mention BJ Jones’ (Brighton Hereford) heart beats in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Comforts Maxie Jones

Elsewhere, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) asks someone if they don’t think this a good idea, he could be talking to Maxie. Later, he will comfort Maxie so apparently he’s there when she finds out about Bobbie’s death, and that could be what Anna was talking to Felicia about as well.

Of course she’ll have to tell Maxie of Bobbie’s passing and maybe Anna and Felicia tell her together in Cody’s presence. If it hadn’t been for Bobbie, Maxie wouldn’t be alive, she was a big part of the decision to donate BJ’s heart.

General Hospital Spoilers – Compassionate Advice

Meanwhile, Sasha is with a broken Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and tries to encourage her to have faith. She tells her former “fake mother” to let it be and she might get what she wants-meaning Sonny to reconcile and forgive her. T

here had been a serious falling out between Nina and Sasha after the truth came out that she was only playing her long-lost daughter.

That broke up Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as well, who’d hired Sasha to play the part. But eventually, Nina forgave Sasha and Valentin and now she’s close friends with both of them-it just took time.

GH Spoilers – Lois Cerullo Talks To Sonny Corinthos

Elsewhere, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) talks to Sonny about Nina and she’s incredulous as she asks “you’re not done with her for good?” Sonny is obviously fighting his feelings and his bonding with Nina and they’re not just going to go away overnight.

The big question would be is their bond strong enough to survive this storm? For sure, Lois will strongly encourage him to forget about the rat who let everyone think Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew into the SEC!
