General Hospital Most Underused Character Of 2024 Was …?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Port Charles is full of a lot of characters. Because of that, there are times when certain characters are given less to do. But when that goes on for too long, fans begin to clamor for more.

Such is the case of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Now we know what you may be thinking: Maxie is on screen quite a bit. And while that’s true, she really doesn’t do much except give advice and work at Deception these days.

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Jones Hasn’t Had A Story In A Few Years Now

The last time that Maxie really had a storyline of her own was during her doomed relationship with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Peter had done some terrible things, but somehow, he managed to hide his dark side for a very long time.

Peter really did love Maxie and was thrilled when she became pregnant with his child. But right before their wedding, Maxie finally learned the truth just a few weeks before she was to give birth.

Maxie dumped Peter but knew he would come after their baby, so she entered into a scheme with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Maxie let Peter believe that their daughter had been kidnapped, but in reality, she was living with Brook Lynn who needed to fool Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) with a baby of her own.

So, Maxie had to spend the first several months of her baby’s life separated from her. After Peter was finally out of the picture forever, Maxie was finally able to take back her baby. Since then, Maxie hasn’t had much of a storyline.

Both Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) are in need of more to do. it’s great that this pair has found their way back to each other and that Maxie has had a few years of peace but it’s time for them both to have a storyline worthy of their talents.

Perhaps the two of them could have some kind of adventure with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and even finally decide to go ahead and get married.

It’s time for both Maxie and Spinelli to have some sort of drama of their own rather than always reacting to other people’s problems?
