Expert Dissects Prince William's Body Language Following Photo Editing DramaPrince William is keeping calm and carrying on in light of the photo editing blowup that the press and hundreds of people on the internet are upset about.

Okay, like Princess Kate edited the picture of herself and her children to share on her social media on mother’s day and it made the world magically stop turning? Is that what happened? Is that why we care so much?

Anyway, whether you’re cool with it or not, the Waleses don’t seem to care and Prince William stepped out for the Commonwealth Day Service full of “authority” and “confidence.”

Body Language Expert Says William Made A “Barrier Ritual” As He Arrived Solo For Service

I get that we’re restless to see Princess Kate, but guys, chillax. Anyway, while we were busy kicking up a storm, or more accurately, a slightly there breeze, William joined Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and a number of other royals for the Commonwealth Day service.

It was reported, and there were blurred snaps to prove it, that Princess Kate had been in the car moments before his arrival, but had gone on to a private appointment instead.

In a recent interview, body language expert Judi James proclaimed that the grin on William’s face as he arrived for the event did not look genuine.

She added: “William arrived looking so solitary and newly-slimmer with his grin fixed firmly in place, although he was straightening his tie with one hand, which formed a barrier-excuse ritual, meaning the slight feeling of self-protection that comes from lifting the arm up in front of the body during moments of pressure.”

She explained that this “ritual” makes people feel safer because “it creates a bit of a barrier from the world.”

Judi continued: “William’s smile doesn’t look congruent or authentic, with an over-lifting of the top lip suggesting effort rather than spontaneity.”

Prince William Looked “Confident” Leading Event Alongside Queen Camilla

Another thing Judi observed was the expression on the faces of the royals as they met up. She said they projected “fondness” and “mutual support” for each other.

She said: “The main signals of support came from William to Camilla, who had shown several signs of nervousness on her rather lonely arrival, from her anxious smile to her rigid and raised shoulders that signalled muscle tension.”

As for William, he was said to project “confidence” and “authority” as he stood next to Anne, Edward and Sophie.
