Emma Johnston Never Seen With Her Bio Mom 

7 Little Johnstons never showed the biological mom of Emma who was adopted from China at the age of five. When TLC aired the story of Alex and Emma’s adoptions, Amber Johnston said that her daughter-to-be had been placed in an orphanage for more than five years. So, TLC didn’t feature her natural mom. 

These days, it is possible for people to track their biological mom, but even in the USA, it isn’t all that easy. And if Emma Johnston wanted to do that, would Amber and Trent Johnston have okayed it? After all, the TLC stars give their adopted daughter every advantage. So much so, that out of the millions of people in China, Emma seems to have hit the jackpot. So, why were 7 Little Johnstons fans discussing her biological mom this weekend?

TLC Star Shares A Photo Of Her Bio Mom?

On Sunday night, the TLC star took to her Instagram and shared a lot of photos of what happened in October. A sweet reel of a kitten was shown, as well as photos of her friends and family. In her caption, the 7 Little Johnstons star wrote, “October so far.”

However, it was the first picture that brought Emma Johnston back an hour later to school her many fans. That’s because the first one showed her with someone else who looked a bit older, and possibly of Chinese origin as well.

In the comments, more than one person wondered if the woman with Emma was her biological mom. One of them asked, “Who is that woman?” Meanwhile, another follower wondered, “That woman and you look very similar.” So in the replies, yet another TLC fan speculated, “[I] was thinking the same thing… could it be her biological mom??”

Eventually, Emma Johnston had to explain to her followers that it is not her biological mother. 

She’s my best friend since elementary, not my biological mother.
