This week in EastEnders is set to be monumental as the notorious Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) faces trial for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
The moment that fans have eagerly anticipated, while The Six have dreaded, has finally arrived, leaving Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) in a state of turmoil.
Although Linda (Kellie Bright) attempts to comfort her friend, their moment is disrupted by Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and young Albie Mitchell (Arthur Gentleman).
Overwhelmed with emotion, Sharon grapples with the sadness of missing such a significant milestone for her son, his first day of school, which only heightens Linda’s anxiety.
In a bid to check on her friend, Sharon reaches out to Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth); will Linda manage to regain her composure?
Although the audience is aware that Dean isn’t truly at fault this time, The Six are left hoping fervently that the judge delivers a harsh sentence. However, with the burden of murder pressing down on them, can they maintain their composure and evade the consequences?
Inside the courtroom, Sharon begins to falter as Dean’s attorney launches a vicious attack, dredging up details from her history.
Soon, a troubling situation emerges that could jeopardize The Six’s plans. Linda observes the chaos unfold, her anxiety palpable, and ultimately leaves Sharon in shock with her testimony.
Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is feeling the weight of the trial on her shoulders, and despite Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) attempts to lighten the atmosphere, Denise isn’t receptive to it.
However, her concerns deepen when she discovers Chelsea in distress and steps in to offer comfort; will Chelsea open up about her role in the club crush?
Meanwhile, Stacey Branning (Lacey Turner) is so preoccupied with the trial that she forgets her promise to assist Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) in organizing Charli’s Slater’s (uncredited) first birthday celebration.
She tries reconciling with Lily, her thoughts remain fixated on the trial, leading to a mishap where she accidentally burns Charli’s cake-as the party kicks off, Stacey has to leave prematurely.
This leaves Lily feeling disheartened by the entire situation, but a heartfelt gift brings a silver lining, allowing her to cherish her first year of motherhood.
