Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) finds herself pregnant, Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) runs away and Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) returns under mysterious circumstances.
Anna finds herself facing an unexpected surprise, but her romantic life is already tangled. She confides in her boyfriend, Bobby Beale, (Clay Milner Russell) about her struggles, prompting him to try and lift her spirits.
However, Bobby soon has to focus on his responsibilities at Beale’s Eels, leading him to ask his friend Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) to step in and support Anna.
Unbeknownst to Bobby, Freddie harbors feelings for Anna and is so anxious about being alone with her that he concocts a weak excuse to avoid the situation, leaving Anna feeling rejected.
Later, Anna musters the courage to check in with Freddie about their relationship, but just as she prepares to reach out, she experiences a dizzy spell that complicates matters further.
Ultimately, Anna manages to visit Freddie, who claims everything is alright but hesitates to join her for a birdwatching outing.
Instead, when Anna proposes grabbing a bite to eat with Bobby and her sister Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), Freddie reluctantly agrees, believing that being in a group will provide him comfort.
However, at Walford East, Gina and Bobby get distracted, and when Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) playfully suggests that Freddie and Anna are on a date, Freddie quickly makes an excuse to leave.
Feeling hurt, Anna turns to Gina for support, prompting Gina to resolve to uncover the truth behind Freddie’s behavior.
Gina quickly comes to the realization that Freddie has developed feelings for Anna as well.
Meanwhile, Anna’s situation worsens when she attempts to find Freddie but ends up getting sick in the café before they can have a proper conversation.
Concerned, Gina questions Anna about the possibility of her being pregnant, while Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) nearly catches Gina in the act of purchasing a pregnancy test for Anna.
Later, at The Vic, Anna takes the test and discovers she is pregnant with Bobby’s child. What will her next move be?

In a heated moment, Elaine loses her temper and tells George that Kojo needs to leave because they can’t handle his needs. Unbeknownst to them, Kojo is listening-George tries to ease the tension as he steps out to make Kojo a drink.
Meanwhile, Kojo quietly leaves The Vic, and George panics when he realizes his brother is gone, blaming Elaine for pushing him away, leading to a police search.
The police come to help search for Kojo, while George continues to ignore Elaine, deeply offended over her opinions about his brother.
In the meanwhile, Kojo wakes up in his hiding spot and heads to the tube station, but his nephew Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) finds him and tries to persuade him to return to the pub.
As Kojo expresses his desire to go back to Ghana, will the Knights be able to change his mind?
Kojo, who is autistic, certainly does present a challenge to the Knight family. But George is determined to make Kojo feel safe and welcomed, even though it will be difficult.
In the meantime, George and Junior still have a cold relationship, but Cindy advises Junior to try again with his dad. Later, Junior and George have an emotional moment, and Junior texts Cindy to see if he can show his gratitude properly.
As the affair goes on, will George find out about the secret connection between his ex-wife and son? If he does, that’s sure to interfere with any ground they’ve gained in their relationship!

When Ricky Branning (Frankie Day) questions whether their older sister, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine), might face prison time, Jack doesn’t dismiss the possibility.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams), the actual perpetrator, is internally shaken by the gravity of the situation and tries to comfort a frustrated Amy.
Despite Amy’s request for space, Chelsea understands that Amy needs support and persuades a guilty Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) to come over and cheer her up.
Jack informs them that the police’s tech team is analyzing the corrupted footage from the incident and assures them that the truth will soon come to light—will Chelsea’s role be uncovered?
