Reiss is in a state of panic as the deadline for repaying Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) looms closer. In a desperate attempt to escape the pressure, he suggests to Sonia that they take a day trip together, but she declines.
However, she feels a warm sense of appreciation when Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) offers to host an engagement party for her.
Just then, an irate Phil shows up at their door, forcing Reiss to come clean to Sonia about his obligation to pay Phil today, which he can’t fulfill.
Thankfully, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) step in to diffuse the tension, and Sonia manages to buy Reiss some extra time by appealing to Sharon.
In a surprising turn, Teddy offers to take on Reiss’s debt to Phil, leaving Reiss stunned as they shake on the agreement. Reiss is filled with hope, but things aren’t as good as they seem, while Sonia’s in shock when Sharon spills Teddy took the debt, a fact Reiss had kept from her.
With her eight-week viability scan looming, Sonia confronts Reiss at the hospital, expressing her concerns about the insanity of making a deal with a near stranger-what could go wrong?
Meanwhile, back in the Square, Martin Fowler (James Bye) discreetly warns Reiss that the police have been inquiring about him and Debbie Colwell (Jenny Meier) which brings on a panic attack.
Later, they arrive at their engagement party at The Queen Vic, but their joyful celebration is abruptly halted when the police arrive to arrest both Sonia and Reiss for Debbie’s murder!
In the meantime, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is adamant that her secret lover, Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), needs to make a decision—will her ultimatum have the impact she hopes for?
George Knight (Colin Salmon) encourages his daughter Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) to uncover the identity of her brother Junior’s enigmatic girlfriend, completely unaware that it’s his former wife, Cindy!
When Cindy catches Gina attempting to access Junior’s phone at Beale’s Eels, she quickly informs Junior after Gina confesses her intentions.
Later, Cindy’s frustration boils over when Junior doesn’t show up for their clandestine meeting-arriving at The Vic, she discovers Junior introducing a woman named Maxine (uncredited) to his family.
Despite Cindy’s fury, Junior claims this is just a ruse to keep his father and sisters from discovering the truth.
Cindy is still furious, and the situation escalates when Gina spreads rumors about Junior’s involvement with Maxine- Cindy starts to ignore Junior, who claims she’s blowing things out of proportion.
In a moment of frustration, Cindy lays down the law—if Junior wants to be with her, he must cut ties with anyone else!
As the week unfolds, Junior confides in Gina that he’s done with Maxine, fully aware that Cindy is eavesdropping-this brings a smile to Cindy’s face, feeling victorious in Junior’s choice.
Meanwhile, George inadvertently offers Junior some relationship tips, which he then applies to his situation with Cindy; the question remains: how long can their secret romance last?

Denise promises to support Chelsea in rebuilding her life, but just as Chelsea departs, the property is bought by Teddy for himself and his sons, Harry and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman).
Teddy shares the news with his half-brother Billy (Perry Fenwick) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton), who inform him about the house’s dark past.
It was the scene of Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) murdering his wife, Chantelle (Jessica Plummer), and Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White).
While Teddy remains unfazed by the history, his oblivious son Harry makes an insensitive comment to an already upset Chelsea, prompting Teddy to take Harry aside and insist he apologize.
Teddy reminds Harry about the mess they’ve left behind and emphasizes the importance of making new friends in Walford-he proposes throwing a housewarming party to welcome their neighbors.
With his charm, Teddy successfully wins over Chelsea and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson). During the party, Chelsea is taken aback when Teddy reveals he negotiated a last-minute clause in his deal with Gray to secure the house.
Later, Harry approaches Teddy, mentioning that ‘you know who’ has been investigating their former residence to track their whereabouts. Teddy insists he has everything managed, but what secrets are they keeping?

Harvey explains that he was busy accepting cab fares to boost his earnings. In an attempt to mend things with Jean, he offers to help Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) by picking up baby Charli (uncredited infant) from the nursery.
Unfortunately, he dozes off in the sweltering car with Charli in the backseat, and just in time, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) spots them, prompting a frantic rush to the hospital!
As Harvey laments putting Charli in danger, Jean and Harvey’s relationship teeters on the edge -will they end up parting ways for good?
