Cindy is terrified for her daughter Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) following the news of her mugging at McKlunky’s-Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) chased off the mugger.

However, Junior was too late to prevent the terror of Anna being knocked to the ground by the mugger, although her purse was retrieved.

The situation worsens when Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) reveals the assault to Cindy, and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) indirectly blames Cindy for the incident.

Determined to help Anna seek justice, Cindy brings Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to the Queen Vic to convince Anna to make a statement. Despite the emotional appeals from Cindy and George Knight, Anna refuses, still reeling from the traumatic experience.
