‘DWTS’ Fans React, Cops Dig Into Artem Chigvintsev DV History

Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) Pro Dancer, Artem Chigvintsev was arrested for alleged domestic violence in Napa. As more details emerge about investigations into his domestic violence history, ABC fans reel with shock.  

Artem Chigvintsev Is Married With A Child

The Russian who first appeared in Strictly Come Dancing debuted as a pro-dancer in Season 19 of DWTS. He skipped seasons 21 and 28, and he then stayed on consecutive seasons. In Dancing With the Stars Season 32, ABC fans saw him paired with Bachelorette Charity Lawson, and they came in at fourth place. 

Artem Chigvintsev was in several relationships but it was former WWE wrestler, Nikki Bella who finally won his heart and they welcomed baby Matteo four years ago. Now that he’s been arrested for alleged domestic violence, fans fear for Nikki and her child. Notably, the victim has not been named. At the moment, TMZ reports that cops are checking out his past to see if he previously hurt anyone.

The news of the arrest soon reached Reddit, and in the discussion, the updates about the DWTS pro dancer were spoken about. Shocked fans were surprised to see that the investigators looked for evidence that he might have been violent in the past. 

U/Stephanie_1474 posted a screenshot about Artem Chigvintsev’s alleged domestic violence history. The Dancing With the Stars conversation picked up after that, with many of them expressing their horror and shock. If it is true, then so many people misjudged him on the ABC show. However, others claimed they always felt something was off with him.
