The soap within a soap storyline was cute at first, but it has definitely worn out its welcome. In fact, Deidre Hall (Marlena Evans) recently confirmed during an interview that the Body and Soul storyline will be coming to a close sometime in 2025, which isn’t soon enough for some DOOL fans.

DOOL Storylines – All I Want For Christmas Is … A Proper Bope Reunion

Most Days fans can agree that the end of Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) run in 2023 completely lacked luster.

DOOL viewers longed for a solid return in 2022 to make up for his quick comeback (he returned only to pass away of a brain tumor) in 2015.

They also longed for a beautiful romantic reunion with his soul mate, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

Both things didn’t exactly happen, and Bo’s exit in 2023 via a coma that was ultimately triggered by his son, Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) who accidentally shot, had fans fuming on so many levels.

Here’s hoping Days writers give Bope fans what they want in 2025, by offering some sweeter-than-sweet moments between one of Salem’s most popular super couples of all time.

So, maybe not all fans want to see Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) return to Salem with a baby in tow, but wouldn’t it make an intriguing storyline if she did?

Sami is sort of out of her childbearing years, but this is the land of soaps where anything is possible. Plus, an added layer of mystery? What if the baby isn’t hers, but one of her daughters’?
