Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) talked to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) about finding a new career.

Johnny is an out-of-work filmmaker by his own admission. Johnny mentioned having an interest in going into the FBI when he was young. Johnny also said he wanted to do something that makes a positive difference.

With Salem’s growing drug crisis, could Johnny go undercover to solve the spiraling criminal enterprise?

DOOL spoilers reveal that on Monday, January 15, 2024, Johnny and Chanel chatted with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

During that conversation, Johnny mentioned wanting to go into the FBI as a kid. Rafe found this hilarious as Johnny isn’t exactly a rule follower.

Johnny also brought up that he is an out-of-work filmmaker. While Johnny’s dream was making movies, the devil possession kind of ruined that plan.

Now Johnny doesn’t know what to do but is helping out at Brady’s Pub in light of Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) predicament.

Johnny did say he wants a career where he can make a difference and do some good. That sounds a lot like JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), who was also a troubled young Salemite before becoming both a cop and an EMT.

DOOL Spoilers – Holly Jonas’ Overdose

Johnny could become entangled in two of the soap’s big storylines right now: Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) overdose and Salem’s drug crisis.

Johnny wants to do some good, so he might decide to get creative in doing so. Johnny will also want to get justice for Holly, who is on life support after a drug overdose.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that a normal Salemite would try to get a job with the police department, then work their way up.

However, Johnny isn’t a normal guy and he does have a creative mind, so expect him to do something wild.

DOOL Spoilers – Undercover DiMera?

Perhaps Johnny will go undercover without exactly getting the Salem PD’s approval. Depending on what kind of intel Johnny gets, this could set up a whole new career in law enforcement.

Of course, this could get complicated. Johnny doesn’t exactly have the best relationship with his father, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Right now, EJ is the district attorney and railroading Tate. If EJ really is determined to punish Tate, then he won’t want any proof of otherwise.

Johnny would also end up getting tangled up with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), whom he is fond of. Johnny would also learn about Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) role in Salem’s drug crisis. There are all kinds of exciting directions this storyline could go, so stay tuned!
