Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that fans have been buzzing all weekend about a social media post from the soap opera.

On Saturday, April 27, the daytime drama revealed that actress Serena Scott Thomas was about to enter the land of Salem, and asked viewers on Instagram about “any guesses” on who she’ll be playing on the show.

DOOL spoilers don’t offer much information on when Serena Scott Thomas will enter storylines or even who she’ll have scenes with.

What viewers do know is that Ms. Scott Thomas is best known for her role as Princess Diana in the early ‘90s Diana: Her True Story, as well as the 1999 Bond film The World, Is Not Enough.

We also know that she happens to be the sister of Kristin Scott Thomas of Four Wedding And A Funeral. Will Serena don a British accent for this role?

Of course, Days fans flooded the comment section with ideas of who Serena will play. Actress Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) hopped too, stating that perhaps she’ll play Ava’s mom, also noting that “Oh wait, her mom was killed by her dad. Or was she?”

Meanwhile, other DOOL viewer theories included that Scott Thomas is playing Konstantine Meleounis’s (John Kapelos) presumed dead ex-wife, who could also be Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) long-lost mom who had an affair with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) to conceive him.

Some also suggested that she could be a recast for Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) mom, or possibly Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) mom.

Of course, fellow Days stars hopped in the comments section to “welcome” Serena to the cast.

Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) commented with, “The sweetest”, while Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) commented, “Well, hello Serena …” Could Serena’s character be linked to either Brady or Kayla, somehow?
