DOOL Spoilers: The Truth Behind Abigail’s Identity Crisis – Amnesia Or Yet Another Alter?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and rumors tease there could be one more truth behind Abigail DiMera’s (AnnaLynne McCord) identity crisis.

In the past, Abigail suffered from dissociative identity disorder brought on by killing Andre DiMera; (Thaao Penghlis) could the person she thinks she is now be yet another alter?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – DNA Is A Match-But Is It Traumatic Amnesia?

Early on, before AnnaLynne McCord was revealed to be the new Abigail, the name used for her was “Marin” and it still hasn’t been revealed what the mystery woman’s name is. It’s possible that since she doesn’t know who she really is, that “Marin” is what she went by-she has to have some kind of name!

Apparently she’s been locked in this room where earlier, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) was found for quite a while, judging by the age of the recording Clyde Weston (James Read) had.

After killing Andre, Abby developed two alters; Dr. Laura, the gatekeeper named after her grandmother Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) and Gabby, based on Gabi Hernandez (now Cherie Jiminez).

After the trauma of being stabbed by Clyde and buried, then dug up-might “Marin” be another alter?

DOOL Spoilers – Not A Previously Unknown Twin

It’s possible that Abigail is suffering traumatic amnesia, but usually repressed memories are triggered by something-hers haven’t been triggered at all. Nothing Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) or Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) have tried has been even remotely successful.

Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) won’t be able to trigger her either but she may have her DNA tested against hers as well, to make sure. That will be a match as well on the maternal DNA, and it may even show she was a single birth.

So no previously unknown twins, separated at birth either, like in the case of Stefan and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – She Felt Safer In Poplar Bluff?

It doesn’t seem possible that Abigail even as a new alter named Marin would feel safer in Poplar Bluff, and that she “belonged there” but that may be all she knows.

The room she was in didn’t seem to have any furniture or anything else, just a sheet on the floor-yet she seems to be dressed nicely and in makeup.

She apparently more recently was able to go and come as she pleases there, which doesn’t frankly make sense either.

But Abigail’s DID returning with a new alter, possibly the only alter this time, makes as much sense as anything else!

She’s definitely Abigail and she’s definitely not a twin-but if this is DID, other alters, possibly other new ones, will follow!
