DOOL Spoilers: Steve Beats Himself Up For Helping Clyde Escape-Couldn’t There Have Been Another Way?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will beat himself up for helping Clyde Weston (James Read) escape.

Even though that was what was bargained, Weston didn’t keep up his end of the deal and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) lives were still in danger!

Steve can’t believe he fell for Weston’s lies, and neither could Tripp’s mother Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun); Ava was left at the airfield with no information, Weston laughing at her.

It was revealed Officer Rebecca Goldman (Kristy St. John) was Weston’s much younger girlfriend, and they didn’t give any clue at all where Tripp and Wendy were!

By the time Steve, Ava, John Black, (Drake Hogestyn) Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) found them they had to be given CPR!

It took all five of them to pull Tripp and Wendy out of that beer tank they’d been in several days, the last part of that with no air. It was a miracle they found them and they survived at all, and Steve’s infuriated at himself.

DOOL Spoilers – There Had To Have Been A Better Way!

Steve keeps grousing that there had to have been a better way to handle this than to just give in to Clyde’s blackmail-John and Ava assure him there that there wasn’t.

They all had to take the chance that Clyde wasn’t going to deliver as promised-and Ava’s family members are upset too, finally acknowledging Tripp as her son.

Ava hopes she won’t have to call on cousins Angelo Vitali (Angelo Tiffe) or Eddie Vitali (Jeff Chase) again, but it made up for the time Eddie testified against her.

That’s something to be said about that hick Clyde that even the Mafia hates him, he gives mobsters a bad name with his lowdown tactics, and he’s an embarrassment!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Somebody’s Gotta Take This Guy Down For Good

They all agree that somebody’s gotta take this guy down for good, and hunt him down to the ends of the earth if necessary-and his little gun moll with him!

That’s going to be easier said than done, even though if they left the United States that puts them on the ISA’s radar.

Steve swears if he ever sees Clyde in Salem again, he’s going to regret it deeply-but for now, all they can do is try to keep an eye out.

At least Wendy and Tripp are alive and safe, although they’ll get extra police protection for a while. This was a traumatizing event for all of them, and won’t be soon forgotten.
