However, each time Sloan gets close to confessing, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is right there to tell the lawyer to keep her mouth shut. To deal with her guilt, Sloan is drinking.

Fans know that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) have already talked about Sloan’s drinking.

Eric has been worried about Sloan’s boozing as well. However, Eric and everyone else just assumes that Sloan has her hands full.

Now, Eric was an alcoholic and ended up killing Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian). Eric went to prison for that crime, so he should know better than anyone what kind of path Sloan is on right now. Eventually, Sloan could end up being forced into rehab.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eric and Sloan told “Jarlena” about the plans to revitalize his photography business. Now, if Sloan goes to rehab, Eric will be facing a mountain of debt.

Sloan’s income and credit cards are being used to keep Leo quiet. Eric doesn’t know that Sloan is in dire financial straits right now or the reason why. So, if Sloan goes to rehab, Eric might find he’s in financial trouble.

Eric won’t want to ask his family for help with finances. So, Eric might just try to work more and take on more clients. However, Eric will be exhausted.

Eric would never ask Nicole to come back from dealing with Holly’s crisis to help him. However, Nicole might come back to Salem for another reason and run into Eric.

Of course, Nicole feels drawn to Jude and would love to spend time with him. With Sloan in rehab, Eric might think it’s okay for Nicole to help out just for a little while.

It’s possible that Eric and Nicole will bond while caring for Jude. Nicole will also strengthen her bond with the little boy.
