Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) recently took the time to pay a small tribute to his onscreen daughter, Victoria Margaret Kiriakis’ (The Kerr Twins), first birthday, while also teasing about a possible SORAS recast coming soon.

DOOL spoilers remind fans that it was one year ago on September 8 that Victoria entered the world of Salem. The sweet little ray of sunshine has helped to set her dad, Xander, straight and assisted in her parents’ romantic reunion.

Paul couldn’t resist acknowledging the big moment in Xander’s life, by hopping on Instagram and sharing a tribute on his IG Story.

Real-life parents know how quickly time can fly when raising kids, but soaps take it to another level. After all, how can Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) both be in high school when they were born in 2015 and 2016, respectively?

Still, logic is constantly defied in the land of daytime drama, so fans just “go with it” when it comes to Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome (SORAS).

Telfer honored his onscreen daughter’s first birthday while also poking fun at how the show SORASes its younger characters.

Posting a photo of “Victoria” (in a heart frame) along with a photo of Xander and Sarah together with their little girl, Telfer writes on his IG story, “Gosh! Time flies! She’ll be starting high school any minute now … #Days #SORAS”

Telfer also tagged the official Days of Our Lives handle and Lynsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton-Kiriakis).

Cute tribute, but Telfer’s not wrong. It’s only a matter of time before Victoria enters Salem’s teen scene and it will be quicker than anyone anticipates!
